- Are you always on the lookout for things that can make your life a little easier? Then you're in the right place. Removing splinters with the help of glue? No problem! Lighting candles with spaghetti? Done! How about using dental floss for slicing cheese? Check! You might find it difficult to accept that such low-budget and simple tricks could work but... they could!
Need to go out in the rain, but don’t have a raincoat? Take this tip from the Terminator. Simply lower yourself into a big vat of rubber cement, and not only will you have a nice, new coating, but you’ll also stay very dry. Just a joke. Don’t do that. But hey - the rest tips are really useful!

SUMMARY:
- Rubber bands wrapped around the ends of your coat hangers will keep your clothes from slipping off.
- To make sour cream and cottage cheese last twice as long, turn the containers upside down when you put them in the fridge.
- If you've lost the protective plastic cap for your razor, you can replace it with a big paperclip.
- If you don't have a steamer or an iron on hand, hang your wrinkled clothes in the bathroom and take a hot shower.
- You won't cry so much while chopping onions if you pop some chewing gum in your mouth.
- If a candle has burned too low, and you can't reach the wick anymore, light an uncooked spaghetti and use it to light hard-to-reach candles.
- If you tend to sleep right through your phone's alarm in the morning, put your gadget into a cup before you get ready for bed. The alarm will reverberate inside the cup and sound louder.
- Scare spiders and mice away by sprinkling your door frames and your garage with peppermint oil mixed with water.
- If you don't want your pencil to crumble while you're sharpening it, leave it in the freezer for several minutes before you start.
- Rub the teeth of a stuck zipper with a graphite pencil, and it'll work again.
- To make a perfect toasted sandwich, put two slices of bread in one toaster slot.
- Cut a tennis ball open and stuff it with dog treats. It’ll keep your pooch entertained for hours
- When your favorite perfume is about to finish, add the last drops of it to your body lotion.
- While reheating rice, wrap it in a wet paper towel. This will soften even the hardest rice.
- All you need to make a fort at home is a large sheet and a fan inflating it.
- To save some space in your drawers, store your clothes vertically. It’ll also be easier to see what you have there.

When you get a paper cut, put transparent tape over it. Leave it on a while and it will help the cut seal up really fast.

Enjoyed it and learned from about 5 examples...but I am pretty good with these tricks and remember them for some reason...??? I don't know if you can turn cottage cheese or sour cream upside down in a professional kitchen, unless you keep it in the same container??? I have never heard this and have been in the biz for many years and not sure that this is ok for correct food handling procedures. Maybe you should check that...I haven't???
I have a spiral notebook . I have one labeled” Gardening” another. “Cleaning” and another for “life hacks” to remember the ones I need to use.

8. You can put your cloths in the dryer for 10 min
12. You can breath thru your nose.
14. You can use a bbq lighter
16. Put your phone on vibrate under your pillow.
17. You’ll have trouble getting that off your sneakers
39. You can roll your cloths too to save space.

Tips for microwave cooking: arrange a plate of food in a circle with empty center (instead of a solid pile), for even cooking; and when using a plastic spatter dome over a plate, first run the faucet over the inside surface of dome, so any greasy residue will wash off easier after cooking.
I was all over 8&9, amazed by 10, many more I have comments on but will not bore you with . I am so curious about kitty trick, as I am walking my dog while listening. 🤔
hmmm...does it work on dogs? Where do you find this stuff?

One of my tricks is always used to drink that you’re going to drink and freeze it in a little ice cube tray and then you pop it in so that way it doesn’t get water down
I always do the #16 not just for alarm but for sound trip when I don't have speaker
When you discovered that you've been doing things wrong: … 😱😂
I really loved thw edit, they edited instead of letting people demonstrate how it will works.
I go camping wiv other families. We have a bbq on middle Saturday. They r in charge of cutting up the onions. They wear swimming googles while doing it n the onion never affects them.
To help to remember to do something, swap your watch, ring or bangle to the other hand; or to do something, put a fridge magnet by the door handle, or somewhere out of place. Even moving a chair out from a table, or putting something off centre... anything out of the ordinary will be so annoying that you will be glad to replace it to where it belongs.
You are so helpful one of the best channels.
3:07 does it work on tangled necklaces?
Got to try the bacon one. Wondering why running it under cold water would make any difference.
When you use a cutting board place a wet cloth/towel to prevent the board from sliding around 🤗
Ok so I knew some of them but not all of them however I am going to try to do the school glue one and see if it works bc I get a lot of splitters and they hurt
I really like this channel....don't know why but it's awesome
for #10 a slotted spoon will also work just fine, just empty the egg into it, raise it, and move it back and forth a little. The egg whites will sink through the slots, the yolk will stay intact in the spoon.
#38 has me confused??? If there is a blackout and you can't SEE anything then how in the world are you meant to find a can of CRISCO, a piece of STRING and a MATCH in pitch black DARKNESS?????
Ty for these great hacks the alarm one was for me
Well explained!!
Glue two clothes hangers together and use it to keep your ear buds from getting tangled. You can also just use one. But I invented gluing them together. It’s certainly possible that other people have thought of it too and I just don’t know it.
Apparently my mom watches your channel cause she used the car tennis ball trick.
What a amazing tips it in s really good.. thanks you so much.
Use grammar
Let me try if all of these work.
science, doctors and dermatologists all say NOT to put toothpaste on zits, as it will irritate your skin and can make your zit worse, as well as the skin around your zit. benzyl peroxide is the best thing for zits, and applying ice to zit can help reduce the swelling and redness.
How will u make the candle when there is a blackout?
I tried that glue but it can’t remove the splinter
at 76 I knew a lot of these but I like the toaster one, and zit toothpaste!!
doctors, dermotologists, tell you NOT to put toothpaste on zits. for one thing, it will irritate the skin and mae things worse.

Is glue on an open wound not a health hazard?

Chewing gum while cutting an onion didn’t work for me. However, keeping onions in the refrigerator then bring one out to chop it kept me from tears.
