Yes, snippet video, never ever will I get bored watching you do anything!! I have a sewing machine that I haven't used in 22 years, lol!!!! So, I am expecting it to be *expired* when I get it out again. And I'll have to learn to sew all over again. I don't even remember how to thread it!! Oh my! And I do want to say I'm loving the 'girly girl' look you are using, just beautiful laces, trims, fabrics, etc!!! Sigh...
It's sooo true about shopping for JJ goodies. The challenge is always when you get it home is now where do I put it so I won't forget where it is or that I even have it. Out of sight, out of mind. lol. Sewing machines, Oh My. I have 2 Brother machines that I absolutely LOVE. In her lifetime, my mom had 2 Singers & a BabyLock-(not a fan). One of my machines is an embroidery machine which I need to learn how to use lol. So I am a huge Brother fan. Great video honey!! Toodles
I love watching your videos and experiencing your process along with you! It’s so fun to hear about your friend Diane. I watch another TH-camr named Diane H. and she’s wonderful! Perhaps this is your friend....but if not you would truly enjoy her videos. As always Gayle you just make my heart happy with every video you make!!! Thank you for sharing!
Oh, you're a sweetheart, Barb! I hope my multiple video posting hasn't interrupted too much!! I'll settle down soon. Haha! Thanks so much for your encouraging comment! You made my evening! 😘❤️
Hi Gayle, I’m so excited ! I finally found out how I can comment on your videos! Its been so frustrating! I love your work! I have made journals for ages, but the junk journals look like so much fun i have been collecting ephemera like a mad woman! Cant wait to get going on one, you are such an inspiration. Thank you so much 😊
I have never been able to sew with glee;) Seems as though it's a fight from the start for me. You have sparked the interest for me so I may dig out the machine;)
I really enjoyed watching your process on the embellishing. I think that I tend to over think my pages and you have really helped me with this. Oh, and I also bought a Singer Patchwork from JoAnn's a couple of years ago. This is the fourth machine that I have had over the past several years and my very favorite. Don't feel bad; I have yet to try the automatic threading myself!
Hi Gayle. I like watching you create and it's interesting to see your thought process. Mine is so similar! I've watched all 3 now but I might skip sewing in the signatures - it always makes me tense 😂LOL. Love the lace on the signature covers. Beautiful. I need to make more snippets too. Maybe we'll work together again.
Haha! I can't imagine any part of journal making causing you tension, Paula! You create such lovely things! Happily the signature sewing went very smoothly for this video. I'm usually all thumbs! 😜. Thanks for watching, my friend! ❤️
second time watching love the fact you do the journal in a special order. the first journal i did i was confused you make it look so much easier. doing 2 now using your method and having fun. thanks
I really enjoy your videos Gail! Thanks for being so real with us. You have the best personality. I am working on a series of five 1866 Vintage book French themed journals...ambitious I know! Your process is very similar to mine. Probably because I've watched so many of your great videos! Thanks again!
Wow, Julie, what an awesome project! Are you going to make videos of them when they are done? Pretty please! They sound phenomenal! Aren't old books just the very best kind of treasure? Thanks so much for watching and for sharing what you're working on. ❤️
Gayle, your a hoot and delight to watch and learn from.Such beautiful ,and artistic work. HOPE to be able to buy a journal soon. Have started my first one and incorporated some of your ideas into it. Thx for being such an inspiration.
well, I have not smiled so much watching videos! I loved listening to you, I found it inspiring, thank you!! off to watch the next, oh, and I would like to see you make a snippet. Thank you so much for sharing your thought process - love the papers to are using too!!
oh my gosh, I'm just loving this series! I just found your channel the other day. This makes an "organized crafter" (things have to make sense, have steps, categories) like me still be able to jump into this! I've just started collecting things and have a first batch of coffee stained papers/textiles of things I had on-hand....now they're sitting in my bin overwhelming me....until now! Thank you so much for sharing your process. SNIPPETS please! - although I will go see if I can find that other video as well. :-)
kanona0115 welcome to my channel! I'm so glad this series is helpful to you! I had so much fun doing it! I'm excited for you to get started creating your journal! Have fun!! ❤️
Great Video, would like to see you make the snippit's again and how you get the print's on the coffee dyed paper. I believe I miss spelled snippit's, but you know what I mean, lol
Hi, Paula! Depending on the journal, anywhere between $65 to $85. I've been told I don't change enough, but try to keep my journals affordable. Price depends on size, materials and amount of vintage one of a kind things added and time to make the journal. I hope that helps! ❤️
Thank you for another great video. What size needle do you use? I just got a sewing machine, and I’m trying to figure out which size is best for paper.

Thanks Gayle. I Love your videos. What size needle do you use for sewing paper? Thanks
love the videos BUT any suggestions of glue if no machine is available.
M Mallder I use FabriTac glue. It will adhere the lace to the edges just fine. Hope that helps! ❤️

Oh Gayle she's a beauty. So after you sew the signatures in. Then do you stamp in it?
Can't decide if I want stamping on the pages yet. So if I do, I'll do it after I sew in the signatures. ❤️
Oh my, I am learning new meanings to word,ie: snippets, belly bands ? These are not to long. I laugh with you.
Thank you for another great video. What size needle do you use? I just got a sewing machine, and I’m trying to figure out which size is best for paper.
Lisa Gonzales just use a needle for "heavy" fabrics. Not sure the size. 😁❤️
Just so you know, I love if the videos are long❤️
Please do a video on snippets. Thank You for sharing your beautiful work.
