    Love it. Thank you. I wonder if there is a way to modify the bracelet design to make it symmetrical. - same number of wraps at both ends?

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe instead of cutting and ending the wire you can bring it back down so you have two wires going across the stone not just on the top part but also on the bottom.

    I am just starting out, which wire do you suggest I get to start with

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For starting I suggest 20 gauge round wire, that's the shape/size used in this video. Because it is easiest and most economical to find, you can usually just find it in a crafts store.

    You have encouraged me to get into wire wrapping but my working wire never stays straight, what am I doing wrong?

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      do you mean you get like little bumps or bends in it? That happens to me too, I use my plies to kind of help straighten it on the pendant. Also before you work with it, run it through a cloth to get it nice and straight, or if you have nylon pliers those can straighten it too

    • @OxanaCrafts

    I'm very new to wrapping. I have 20g wire and it seem stiffer than yours. Are there hard and soft wires?

    • @OxanaCrafts

      Yes there is half hard and dead soft, I use the dead soft

  • @diedredunham7383

    The artistic wire isn't the same in my experience. I use dead soft bare copper wire.

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  ปีที่แล้ว

      It can be a bit more firm, it depends on the color. There was a silver one I tried once that was tinned or something like that, I think maybe it wasn't copper, so it was very hard to work with, but other colors of the Artistic brand wire have been fine for me.

    Mine slide right off on both sides

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you using a rectangular cabochon? The wires should be on all sides of the stone and that prevents the stone from sliding out.
