    Thank you Jeff for putting in the effort to do these videos. I've always found it difficult to do work like this and also explain it at the same time. Harder to stay focused and not forget or overlook things. Looking forward to your video on doing the basic top end and powervalve setup. I need a refresher course since I'll be doing the top end on my 2019 KTM 250XC before long.

    Interesting that the kit in this video came with ignition 55639031100. Looking this part up shows that it is the correct part for both 250 and 300SXs. Older kits came with an XC ignition and you had to but the SXS 300 ignition separately.

      KTM is a little inconsistent with the kit contents. They now usually come with the SX CDI but not always.

    Hi Jeff, I’ve got the same bike and plan to do the 300 kit due to blowing it up at the last gncc. Was wondering if there is a way to put some kind of fan kit on this bike without having a battery? Maybe put a battery under the seat and just charge before races? Any input is appreciated!

    Hello Jeff my name is Fabian Dragojlovic
    I have installed a top end on my KTM300 that I have bought from you and 15 hrs later I can see what looks like a dark colored line in the cylinder. Is there any way you can contact me so I can send you a picture and get your thoughts and opinions. Thanks for the great content .

      @Slavens Racing This is kinda embarrassing but I'm a 42 year old man that has very little knowledge with phone technology. Is there any way I could get a phone number and just text it to you
      If not I totally understand
      Thanks

    servus! cylinder gasket size how many mm?

    • @slaverace1
      @slaverace1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on what you want to accomplish. If you want to improve low-end performance, install a thinner gasket. If you want it to run like stock, measure the gasket thickness and install that gasket or gaskets to achieve that dimension.

    Interesting comparison between cylinder heads. Anyone know of a better head for an older 2002 KTM 300? It really likes a Boyesen Rad Valve and CDI from a 250 SX. Also runs 95 octane gas from the Husqvarna store, synthetic oil, stabilizer, and non ethanol.
