    Explained like a boss. Cheers. In case anyone was wondering what the blue tray is, it's called a silicone soldering mat.

    Excellent tutorial for a newbie like myself. The mat is such an ingenious setup for the knife mod. I can't wait to jazz up my Para3 in the future.

    Just another great video. For some reason, I love large blades and respect the pm2 but enjoyed caring the para 3. Thanks for the info!

    Looks so good in blackout with Ti, and backspaced. I don’t love the clip, but the dark and large profile adds a nice breakup of the Ti silver scales vs blackout blade.
    I just bought a p3 satin black g10, today, and instantly am regretting not have asked for a lightweight blackout, with flytanium and backspace add ons. I think I’ll get a pm2 In This config then.thanks for showing how it is not too hard to take down a p3.

    • @Fablades
      @Fablades  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes not that difficult, and options are almost endless. I still would like to find a flush spacer, but no luck so far

    If my estimation is correct that is the s35vn para3 which I own and customized as well but with titanium lanyard tube and green micarta scales. ;)

    Hi! I have a blade from lightweight (plastic scales) and I'm having trouble inserting the blade into similar scales as yours. First, there is only one metal piece inside the plastic scales, not two (on both sides, just one). Also, I would like to add bearings, but my blade does not "groove" into the ring with bearings. What could you advise me?

    • @Fablades
      @Fablades  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don’t think you can install bearings on a para3. I took the metal liners from a G10 one, not a FRN linerless

      @@Fablades Thanks for the quick reply! I have bearings on my Para3, a blade made of CPM S35VN steel (there are grooves for bearings on the blade), and I want a Para3 blade made of REX45 steel with bearings - there is no groove (?). Does that mean I only have washers to mount? I have one more request - could you recommend me a good website with scales?

    Very Satisfying video that you made, im now planning to set up some tools, may i ask what kind of Mat are you using here? Thanks

    • @Fablades
      @Fablades  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      This is a generic soldering mat, you can find it online easily and it’s quite cheap. Some have a magnetic plate to keep parts from wandering around 😉

    Nice video, I have a para 3 as well and I was thinking to put a back spacer but I don’t know what the purpose is or how it feels on the hand after the installation

    • @Fablades
      @Fablades  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It looks nicer, and gives more structural rigidity, and the handle should be less prone to flexing
