I gave a load of my pups smaller coats, jackets and harnesses to my groomer to hand out to any owners who needed them. An elderly guy up the road who lost his shihtzu earlier this year gave me all of his dogs treats and some food. I baked him an apple pie to say thank you. It is a good thing you are doing and Sherpa wouldn't mind at all😊❤
Sherpa's life, and the boundless generosity of those whose lives he touched, is still reaching out into the world and passing that kindness on. It's a beautiful thing.

Jamie, we lost our beautiful beagle boy, he had nearly 10 years with us before his cancer. Every Christmas we make a donation in his name to the rescue we adopted him from. Anyone reading this if you can please donate to your favorite pet charity. My husband and I have enough things, so we donate instead of presents for us. Just a little something under the tree, the rest goes to animal charities.

How wonderful you adopted, my Sammy who we lost at 13 years was also a rescue he had been abused how anyone could raise a hand to that tiny baby I will never understand he weighed a little over a pound at 5 months those first 5 months must of been brutal one look at that white little boy with the pink nose and so sad green eyes I swore he was coming home with me it didn't take long for him to become my shadow and heart but it took awhile to not flinch if anyone raised their hand to talk around him that little sweet miniature schnauzer grew up to be 35 pound of love for everyone ❤ a very special boy this December 28th will be 2 yrs since we lost him to kidney cancer. Oh how I miss him 😢 .LilyRose was a God and Sammy blessing she came from great people and only knows love bred for health ,one day LilyRose and I want to adopt again but my little drama queen diva has to learn to share❤😂 .have a wonderful Christmas
I'm currently fostering a stray cat for a girl I work with who is temporarily living with family. The cat was a stray in my neighborhood who grew quite attached to my coworker, and with my close proximity to work, it made sense. I have a cat so it's giving us the opportunity to adjust this sweet girl to being around other cats. When I received a Christmas gift for my fur baby, I made sure it was shared with our house guest. I know Sherpa, and by extension my Kiki, are smiling down on the kindness and joy you are showing to the dogs looking for their furever homes. Happy Christmas Jamie!

When my late cat garfield died I donated all off her bowls and toys to the RSPCA for the cats and kittens that was looking for forever homes, the lady I gave them to was over the moon, she said no one has ever done that before and then she bust into tears of joy, which set me off.
