You gotta understand that the kpop community is extremely toxic and the big companies ruled the kpop market before BTS came and turned all around. Obviously the fans from big company groups weren't pleased with a small group of nobodies winning over their big rich group from a big company so they tried their best to downplay and end BTS' career (still do).
@@MexineseFamily they often mistreated on variety shows they attended because people really underestimated them. People in Korea don't really appreciate them until they become big in America. Then all of sudden people is trying to find their connection to BTS. But these boys are so humble to everyone. They approached anybody younger or senior celebrities. They are from a small company which is almost bankrupt and people doubted their talents. Even when they received an award in Korea people said it's charity for BTS. They roasted those haters with all the trophies they brought home like they said in their music video mic drop "did you see my bag? It's full of trophies" these kids inspired me. Often when I felt down or complained about life. I look at them and I told myself have you work harder? Have you try harder? I am almost 38yo and I wished my son could grow up to be a gentleman like these young men. They wanna make music to uplift others which not many artists did it.

We kinda like the underdog here and want to see them succeed or we like the rags to riches stories. Over there they were looked down on for being poor and no names. They fought a lot of prejudices against them. It's my hope that people like them can change certain aspects of the kpop industry that aren't so great.

Yup, they do still live together -- in a multi-million $ apartment in one of the most secure, exclusive complexes in Korea. Lol We know at least FOUR members also own other properties: Jin, Suga, J-Hope, and Jungkook. But for now, they still live, work, and tour together! They're very much a family. Basically, our boys just BACKED A TRUCK UP during the Korean awards season. I know they won over 100 awards in 2018, which included honors from their government for spreading Korean language and culture around the world. They did a performance at a Korea/France exchange where you can see the Korean president's wife jamming out to their music. So many awesome things happened last year, and ALREADY this year! They're even PRESENTING at the Grammy Sunday night! They and we still have haters (even death threats), but we're so big now, it hardly even matters anymore. You can see from these videos some of why we are SO FIERCE in our effectiveness of them!
And now they are the first kpop group attending and presenting an award at the Grammys, aww I'm soft. Also Love Yourself Answer is now the 10th most sold album in Korea ever, and most sold in the entire 21st century

A lot of fans of other kpop groups still hate them to this day and believe that they didn't deserve anything they earned and all of the attention they have. They still discredit them for all of their achievements, even winning AOTY 3 times in a row, appearance and nomination to the Grammys. Also now that they became a huge deal in America and worldwide too a lot of xenophobic or ignorant people hate and make fun of them. It's just sick to see where jealousy and hatred can lead a person. Sorry for late comment but I just want to add something based on the video: Since now you know there are three big companies and each of them contains few famous groups in the kpop industry, groups that debuted from a small company basically started with no hope and even when they got big the big companies will oppress them by either make them not be able to go to any reality shows or cut their performance time during an award show. So that’s the reason why bighit starts to make run bts, people didn’t invite them bc they weren’t famous at that time but now they cannot afford them after bts gone so big. Also about the first daesang (grand award) at that time exo was the predicted winner and since they have a few Chinese members the group has a very large fan base both in south korea and China, so the fan assumed that exo will win the award but bts ends up getting it thats why they were so shocked and upset. As the video said fans of the other group think that there are miscalculation and cheat so they insulted bts on this Chinese media called Weibo. Fans from total 7 kpop groups were making fun of this award and saying very mean things towards them. But bts getting bigger and bigger in 2018 and 2019 but it still reminds me of their shocking face from 2016 every time they received an award, the success needs hard work and fortune so I am very proud of them. Sorry for late comment but I just want to add something based on the video:
Since now you know there are three big companies and each of them contains few famous groups in the kpop industry, groups that debuted from a small company basically started with no hope and even when they got big the big companies will oppress them by either make them not be able to go to any reality shows or cut their performance time during an award show. So that’s the reason why bighit starts to make run bts, people didn’t invite them bc they weren’t famous at that time but now they cannot afford them after bts gone so big.
Also about the first daesang (grand award) at that time exo was the predicted winner and since they have a few Chinese members the group has a very large fan base both in south korea and China, so the fan assumed that exo will win the award but bts ends up getting it thats why they were so shocked and upset. As the video said fans of the other group think that there are miscalculation and cheat so they insulted bts on this Chinese media called Weibo. Fans from total 7 kpop groups were making fun of this award and saying very mean things towards them. But bts getting bigger and bigger in 2018 and 2019 but it still reminds me of their shocking face from 2016 every time they received an award, the success needs hard work and fortune so I am very proud of them. Love you guys and thank you for being army💜💜💜
