RM's powerful speech changed so many lives. I'm even sharing that to my students. A lot of us are just good in advising how to love ourselves and yet the truth is we don't know how because like me, I am always feeling accountable with others. To the point that I woke up having depression already and it consumed me. Until last December I found the Carpool of BTS in James show and that was the start of my BTS journey and the start of healing unconsciously as I began to delve into their music, knowing them individually. I admit, I was not into Kpop before but now, I am am a proud army. These 7 legends completely changed my life. Hugs to all the armys around the world 💜 New sub here 🤚 thanks for the genuine reaction
Yes, they really inpired and inspire me everyday. That is the first reason why i became an ARMY even i'm much older than them. I've never expected that a boyband could inspire me, but they made me to put more efforts in my real life. Love their hard-work, humble personality, goofy character, genuine brotherhood and shining talents. Even you are not a fan of their music, you can not deny that they are qulity people. Happy to see you reaching this reaction. There's a famous saying between ARMY. "BTS will finds you when you need them most." Let's love ourselves more.
Thank you for this great reaction. There’s a saying that people find BTS when they most need them and I truly believe this. I found them when I needed them the most. They have brought so much joy to my life and they have taught me to always love myself. Whenever I feel down I a listen or watch their performance of Magic Shop and it instantly makes me feel better ❤️🩹! Can’t wait for your next BTS video! 💜💜💜
Thanks for the genuine, heartfelt reaction. I have MANY disabilities and am 64. Every day I start by listening to one of the songs in the video called 'Euphoria' ... a solo by Jin. "I'm the one I should love, in this world"....sums up the BTS message. I hope you will listen to it and enjoy! Borahae AILEEAN/ARMY grandma
Yes, the genuineness and vulnerability.....the messages in their songs....that's why I was drawn to them. Don't worry about not knowing them earlier....you may know, we have a saying in this fandom: BTS finds you when you need them most....I am a 61 year old fan. I will be a fan until I die. These are some of the best people on this planet, and I'm glad I got to experience BTS while I was on this planet. Their music and songs and lyrics, and the way they live their lives really does affect people, and it is so lovely to see.
Thank you for your beautiful reaction! The whole BTS love your self campaign was great, inspiring and helped many people, who were touched by the message, but also financially through UNICEF. All BTS lyrics have their depth, because the artists (the seven of them) have experienced in their own lives the impact of growing up and being able to embrace their own self. They are a unique experience so far in the art world. Hy much to very hear from them.
I remember when almost everyone was jamming to despacito without really understanding what it meant... Here I'm rolling my eyes when they're not open to another language
They say you find BTS when you need them. That was true for me at least. I had heard of BTS and a couple of their songs but never dived deep into them. But at one point in my life when I was at the lowest I've ever been I was drawn to BTS and their message and I was inspired and empowered to move from that situation I was in gradually. I am forever thankful to these seven boys from South Korea.
Suga thought he achieved everything he wanted in 2017, so he was thinking of retiring from idol singers and becoming producers, but suddenly he was surprised to invite them from the U.S. All of them are miracles created by ARMY. I was sad to hear that I cried after the first Billboard performance. He said he was scared of an unexpected big success. However, he said he accepted everything soon and he wants to make a safe landing by singing happily and joyfully, making music, rather than falling into an ugly appearance. It was touching.
You should definitely watch BTS hardships 2021 by xcelest and start watching the rise of bangtan docu-series yes Namjoon speeches will always get you, he's so well spoken and John Cena is an army and he LOVES jhope
I'd recommend watching/reacting to "Answer: Love Yourself" - it's pretty much the last song in the whole arc of the Love Yourself series. There's a through line with all the solo songs + some of the group songs on that album that shows the progression of a relationship: - J Hope's "Just Dance" is about meeting a girl and wanting to dance with her - JK's "Euphoria" is about being smitten by her - Jimin's "Serendipity" is about being lost in her world ** group song "DNA" is about being destined for one another - RM's "Trivia: Love" is about questioning this new feeling - V's "Singularity" is about waking up next to someone not knowing who you are anymore ** group song "Fake Love" addresses not being your true self for someone else - Suga's "Seesaw" is about the ups and downs of a relationship, who's getting off first - Jin's "Epiphanie" is the realization that in order to love others you should love yourself first ** group song "Answer: Love Yourself" - the conclusion of this whole journey It's definitely worth a listen / deep dive. It's just so thoughtful how they did the whole thing. And the impact that it's having is just so huge. It's my favorite album ... although their other albums come close as well.
They have truly touched so so many ppl all over this planet in so many different ways and on so many different levels! 💜🎵🎶 **(Awesome genuine reaction from you Gabby! 🤗) **Also I noticed you understood so much about their message from your first reaction of their music videos! It is inspiring to see this happening all over the world!! 🎵🎶🤗💜 they were healing in my world bc I bumped into their music one day last August while grieving the loss of my (husband, Chad) who was my sunshine every day? I was crying everyday, but listening to BTS has brought a new ray of Sunshine into my life and I smile without feeling guilty, I do still miss my Chad 💯percent 24/7 buts it's lighter instead of heavier🙏🤗💜🎵🎶
Please don't dwell on the fact that you didn't find them earlier. It's said that you find BTS when you need them the most. Yoongi also said that it doesn't matter if you weren't with them since debut days because the day you find them is the day they debuted for you. I found them in 2020 too even when I had a whole chance of seeing them in Wembley 2019. I was outside that concert venue but I didn't know them or listen to their music. It's one of my biggest regrets but I believe it wasn't the right time. I'm glad you are a part of this fandom though
Oh how I would love to have coffee and talk with you! I Love BTS because they all saved my life. I am a 56 year old Army! Thank you for your reaction and THANK YOU BTS For all you 7 do for us, ARMY! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Nothing much these boys just give me years of HAPPINESS...I just love this family fandom we cry , laugh , smile think unholy ...loose our innocence , fight we do everything together and make it fun BTS AND ARMY forever 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Here’s the thing. Everything that happened was actually worse than what we see. I’m also a baby army and I’ve been asking around other veteran armys what it was like during those times and they say it really felt like hell especially in 2018 with JM’s tshirt issue bc japanese ne0 n4zis were threatening not just BTS but also armys who’d attend the concerts. Even b0mb1ng thr3ats. Literally everyone was on edge and it’s so hard reading the stories :(( I highly suggest reading the White Paper Project because it really opens your eyes to how ridiculously hard the journey was 😭
They were never nobodies. They were diamonds that Bang Si-Hyuk found, polished up, and gave a little piece to all of us ARMY. They are teaching me to love myself every day
Bangtan Sonyeondan I hope you rise so high that nobody will be able to ignore or criticize you... I hope you rise so high along with us ARMYs... Thank you always for your music...💜💜💜💜
RM's words are always powerful. He even writes long posts in weverse which inspires us n helps us keep going. Please check out his speech in UN general assembly 2018 in connection with Love myself campaign. Its deeply touching. I cry every time I listen to it. He is truly inspiring n all 7 are inspiring their words n acts always been uplifting
If you would like to know more about bts journey from day one as well as some behind the scenes clips that you wont usually see... "The Rise of Bangtan" compilation/ docu series is the best option to do so.. you will learn alot about them, their journey, their music as well as the music industry.. its worth the watch.. its kind of long but we are very much willing to watch long videos with you... 💜💜💜.. looking forward for more videos coming from you.. 😘😘😘
Never feel bad for not knowing bts before. Trust me. I became an army in jan 2021 and I too felt that I never gave them a chance. But you know what suga said !! All I can tell you is breathe.. Breathe through the anger. Breathe through the pain. Breathe through the tears. All of ARMY has been where you are. Suga once said, when you see your first video (whatever BTS video you see first), that is their debut date, for you. You are ARMY!
I became a subscriber today. I’ve been watching your BTS videos for a while know…. Your touching and sincere words for the guys made me want to visit with you more 🙌🏻💜😉 I’m 53yr and a loyal Army since 2017
Leave it to Western Culture to be absolutely Racist, Xenophobic, and Judgemental. BTS has had to endure so much. ARMY's walked with them and helped to get them through all the bad stuff. This is why ARMY's are sensitive about BTS and protective. BTS are so successful because they are genuine, humble, and sincere, on top of being very talented, passionate, and dedicated to their craft. I really admire their work ethic. I don't know if we will see another group like them in our lifetime. They are very special. Thank you for the reaction, and I know how you feel. I was in awe of them and felt a bit ashamed of myself for not giving them a chance a lot sooner. I started listening to their music in October of 2020. After Dynamite came out. I've been ARMY since then.💜 By the way, have you heard Jungkook's cover of Falling by Harry Styles? It's really good 🥰 BTS Jungkook - Falling (Harry Styles Cover) - th-cam.com/video/opaeuakqcuc/w-d-xo.html
BTS and Armys have always inspired and made positive influences to each other. Armys & BTS have shown each other that they are worthy of love no matter how others may say otherwise or how even you only see your flaws. It is such a great relationship to have. BTS x Army forever 💜
Thank you for this video! I love all your other reaction videos but this one just felt so heartfelt and I love the respect you have for everyone. When you said you don’t understand why songs have to be in English to succeed, I agree. It’s about the feeling that music can give you regardless of language and whether there are any words at all. Thank you for being such a kind soul!
Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. I am glad u watched this. Rosan is a 2014 army. She makes great info vids. There was a lot here and all easily understood. I remember i learned so much on my 1st watch. RM is amazing with speeches. Hugs. -NY USA 2019 Army💜
Thank you for your heartfelt response to this video. I am a part of the over 70 demographic (and there are lots of us). This is also not the first time I have watched this video. The criticism that always chaps my hide is the "like a girl" comments. And being a "girl" is bad because???? Isn't it a wonderful surprise to discover that they are infinitely more than a mere K-Pop Boy Band? Journey on. So much more lies ahead. Can't wait to see where they take you next.
I'm an older ARMY I'm 49 I love RM and his speech they are great group of men by the way SUGA is my bais rapper and jin is my bais singer I don't think he gets as much credit as he should welcome to the army 💜
BTS do not see themselves as "stars", they are "just 7 boys from Korea", and Love yourself was never about telling people how to be - RM hates self-help books, so the whole message is about - to quote one of RM's solo songs (on soundcloud free) "Do you". I enjoyed watching you learn these little extra bits about BTS and was moved by your clear honest emotions - thank you for that. XCeleste is a wonderful ARMY working hard to share BTS with us all - I have rewatched her videos more than once! and can recommend her others for you too.
08:58 Oh, the AMAs this year was like celebrity meet and greet, literally celebrities were lining to meet them. Their poor security guy sometimes you could see he hesitated: should i tell them to move or allow couple more minutes😅
Great reaction as always! This is just the tip of the iceberg, if you react to the rest of xCeleste's more updated stuff and the Hardships video you'll see just how hard it was. Every step of the way was a struggle so when Army gets upset at some reactors or anyone else disrespecting BTS you can understand why. I just don't understand why and how people can conduct themselves that way. Maybe social media has given some the idea that they can get away with bullying and hating others. Here's the thing. They will never get away with it, for we reap what we sow, always. So grateful to old Army's who were there from day 1, who kept Bangtan going. I came across them beginning of last year and what a wild ride it's been. Forever grateful for these amazing young men and their message who really brighten up the world. I gave up listening to music a long time ago as I found their messages totally abhorrent at times and the way it was changing the mindset especially of the young. So when BTS came along it threw me for a loop. Out of nowhere they came into my life and now I cannot imagine it without them! God bless everyone of them and their loved ones and those behind them. I truly pray hard for them and Army every day, in this mad world anything can happen. So do keep going, you'll be amazed every step of the way and I'll be here to share it with you! 👍👍👍
This stigma is only in the west. Especially in the US. I don’t think Europeans, Asian,Africans or Latin Americans have an issue with the language because they are used to speaking different languages and taking in media from different countries.
It's estimated that they alone are responsible for approximately 0.5 % of the South Korean national economy in taxes, tourism, etc. Totally blows my mind.
I also recommend you their songs showing their motto. All are from their concerts and just GREAT!!!! - Microcosmos (Live with Eng cc) th-cam.com/video/7Aa4zRgY9vE/w-d-xo.html -Magic Shop(Live with Eng cc) th-cam.com/video/c1IQEbl25Tw/w-d-xo.html - Answer : Love Myrself (live with Eng cc) th-cam.com/video/pzZPvh3VYKM/w-d-xo.html -Wings (live stage mix with Eng cc) th-cam.com/video/KH2VpBWDGM8/w-d-xo.html
BTS didn’t have any advantage of belonging from a well known company. They made bighit rich and hybe the biggest company in S.Korea. Since debut BTS works and practices for 18 hrs a day. But thanks to Hitman Bang
please react to bts hardships 2013 - 2021 by xceleste its a better explained video than this one. also please react to bts vs kpop by bbygangmag, youre wrong about kpop by bbygangmag, the media is wrong about kpop by bbygangmag and kpop vs orientalism by bbygangmag all these videos will help you so much on your bts journey and help you know about korean music in general.
it's so funny when everyone is sooo angry when they looked at the that racism decision 😂 we're so angry then we can't speak anymore and just laugh at the xenophobic person😂 anyway i love your reaction💜 stay safe and healthy 💜
Howdy, Gabbsi! First time visitor to your channel. I appreciate the love you've shown K-pop and rock. Have thrown a sub and some likes your way. Seeing as you appreciate both of those sounds, I want to shamelessly plug one of my favorite groups that can give you both of those things and more all in one package! Their name is *Dreamcatcher* ! They are a seven member K-pop girl group that debuted in 2017. Known for their darker concepts (serious, dystopian, and/or spooky) and for being the only group to incorporate rock into all of their title tracks in some manner. Their earlier rock sound was heavily influenced by J-rock/pop (anime intro vibes). As time went on, their rock sound evolved into a more modern rock sound and they started mixing/blending in other genres. Almost all of their MVs are story driven. Some storylines span multiple MVs and others are standalone. All amazing vocalists (even their two rappers). Easily one of the most unique groups you'll experience in K-pop. If that sounds like something you'd be interested in, I'd suggest one of these two songs as a starter depending on what interests you more: - "BEcause" (2021) - Latest title track. Creepy af. Song lyrics are about obsessive love and the MV concept involves doppelgangers. The MV and choreography are influenced by, and have references to, the movie "Us". - "Scream" (2020) - First song in their "Dystopia" trilogy. The trilogy addresses and calls out anonymous harassment, bullying, and obsession with technology to try and escape that tough reality. It's all handled with well thought out lyrics and a shit load of symbolism in the MVs. Since you seemed to enjoy Nightwish, I would recommend "Scream". "Scream" does not sound like Nightwish, but it has that same epic feeling to it. If you decide to give them a chance, a pre-emptive thank you. If you don't react to them, you should really check them out when you have some free time. They're worth it. Thanks again for the reactions!
I know what you mean. I dismissed them too. I heard about them and thought ahh some pop boyband, manufactured nonsense. But I learned my lesson and will never do that again, with anybody. I can't imagine my life without BTS. 😆😆
kpop stars ESPECIALLY as trainees, train for at least 12 hours a day, 5-6 days a week. It's not like here where u can make it through social media/youtube.
Love your reactions! Maybe you would like to hear JK cover Falling by Harry Styles, since you are his fan. JK, V, Jimin and J-Hope went to Harry's concert while they were in LA. Link to cover: th-cam.com/video/22VOzqS_9ms/w-d-xo.html
Oh, honey you are not ready for BTS Struggles video😭 cause the things you saw here is just everyday shit army encounters. We just week ago had Kimmel comparing them to covid. I have never seen in my life artist to be targeted to such hate and viciousness.
I’m 60, a mother, grandmother, a nurse and I just love these young men. An yes they remind me of the Beatles, they had strong messages as well.💜💜🌹

I'd recommend watching/reacting to "Answer: Love Yourself" - it's pretty much the last song in the whole arc of the Love Yourself series.
There's a through line with all the solo songs + some of the group songs on that album that shows the progression of a relationship:
- J Hope's "Just Dance" is about meeting a girl and wanting to dance with her
- JK's "Euphoria" is about being smitten by her
- Jimin's "Serendipity" is about being lost in her world
** group song "DNA" is about being destined for one another
- RM's "Trivia: Love" is about questioning this new feeling
- V's "Singularity" is about waking up next to someone not knowing who you are anymore
** group song "Fake Love" addresses not being your true self for someone else
- Suga's "Seesaw" is about the ups and downs of a relationship, who's getting off first
- Jin's "Epiphanie" is the realization that in order to love others you should love yourself first
** group song "Answer: Love Yourself" - the conclusion of this whole journey
It's definitely worth a listen / deep dive. It's just so thoughtful how they did the whole thing. And the impact that it's having is just so huge. It's my favorite album ... although their other albums come close as well.

Finally 💜
I cry every time I watch that video😭😭😭😭
Could u please react to “BTS struggles”???
react to "Rise of Bangtan" you will learn lot of about them
08:58 Oh, the AMAs this year was like celebrity meet and greet, literally celebrities were lining to meet them. Their poor security guy sometimes you could see he hesitated: should i tell them to move or allow couple more minutes😅
Loved your reaction🐢
I'm clearly crying
I would love to see you react to more dance practices since you’re a dancer yourself

❤️❤️❤️
I also recommend you their songs showing their motto. All are from their concerts and just GREAT!!!!

BTS didn’t have any advantage of belonging from a well known company. They made bighit rich and hybe the biggest company in S.Korea.
Since debut BTS works and practices for 18 hrs a day. But thanks to Hitman Bang

If that sounds like something you'd be interested in, I'd suggest one of these two songs as a starter depending on what interests you more:
- "BEcause" (2021) - Latest title track.
