I can't believe the amount of people ripping on him for this, like holly shit he is in high roller the end game power house dungeon, of course he's geared and then people who spent maybe an hour grinding instead of the hours to days he probably did team up and try to fuck him up like how is that fair, the whole point of high roller is to go in with good gear to fight more difficult enemies, but if we're gonna make it harder on low geared people in high roller, rightfully so, we also need to do something to balance people going into the lower tiered dungeon with high roller level gear.
Did you say cheaters? The dev teams even states teaming isn't against the rules as long as you aren't trying to que together. I get it, it sucks being a target. So does spawn rushing people. But Voip shouldn't be removed. I don't know why you're making up a fake bannable offense because you got upset about it?
Have you watched the video? 3-4 Toxic players start insulting me for no reason and then try to 3v1 me (4th probably died to mobs). In what world that's ok? Why would you defend this? Unless you are one of them or like them?

They didn't que together to try and group. They decided in game using VoIp to go for you. 100% able to do this in the game. What's the difference between deciding to team up before the lobby or at the lobby. I think what devs meant about teaming being allowed is when 3 people meet and 2 decide to take down 1 and then fight each other or something. These guys in the video deliberately decided to meet up and come looking for me BEFORE the run even filled up or started. So again how's that any different from queing with the intention of teaming?

I feel like if they did a half measure of no VoIP in the lobby it may have the desired solution. This way this situation would not happen, but you could still have some form of communication in the game.
I haven't played Dark and Darker but if this really is a problem, just remove voip from the lobby and enable it when the game starts. That way no one can create plans with others in the lobby based on other players there but they can still interact with each other in the in-game environment.

the big issue is that its high roller, like he said they are going in with minimal gear and then just grouping this completely defeats the purpose of high roller which is supposed to be a high end difficult run, that gear belongs in the base dungeons and if theyre doing this because they cant win against others with their bad gear then maybe they shouldnt be in high rollers until they do have good gear.

You also had the opportunity to talk to your barbarian opponent and tell him the situation people will listen 9/10. I get its high roller but the best interactions I have had in DaD is the VOIP encounters. The worst is a rogue kiting both pedes and a skeleton champion with a line of mobs into my room and going stealth so they aggro me instead (happened right after rogue nerf) was a mad I lost alot of my BIS gear? Absolutely, do I think its cheating? No they used their kit to gain an advantage to win a fight. VOIP is a part of your kit. Just talk you could have said anything in the pregame lobby and you didn't.

It's an established rule in the discord, and preplanned teaming is (according to the discord) when players decide in pre-game lobby to not kill eachother. These players will have to be reported by whoever was affected though, there's not automatic system to deal with this. @@darkeldunari6744

The devs have specifically said that they are against "premade teaming" where you queue into GC with multiple people at the same time with the intention of teaming. Ironmace has said they have no problems with emergent gameplay and teaming up with random people in your lobby, as long as it's not premeditated with specific people before queueing. Random people in lobbies teaming up is not considered cheating by Ironmace.
