While there is obviously a chance that these people are all wrong, it's the internet afterall, I give them the benefit of the doubt and test it out. I got the perfect conditions to do so since I'm on a playthrough that was specificly created to figure out all the triggers. I plan to release all my data as a Guide on Steam once it's finished.
I got a demi-god IMP with every single stat 90+ (I've spend a year on Ernie Island training him up before even going to the mainland, took about 2 irl hours lol. rest was done by reading magazines with him and just playing), a Negotiator, Psycho and Scoundrel in my squad, so if it's just skill checks based afterall, it should be covered. We'll see.
I beat the major in about 5-6 different circumstances. And I noticed that after killing the colonel, he came on the radio and made one his goons send flowers with card to Corazon (in JA2 style) so as soon as this happened the hiring option was there. Please reply here if you find something I missed. I will pin your comment .
@@hexxatgaming Small update. You definitely need to aquire the knowledge that he's Spike before you meet him. That much is clear. So rescuing Biff actually might be necessary when not having killed the Colonel, which I assume would give additional influence over him, impressing him.
Iirc, Biff is the one telling you that the Major is actually Spike. Now I'm gonna see if that will suffice. Gonna be a pain the butt to redo all this but it's whatever.
First I'm gonna see if the Refugee Camp event and gathering all the evidence there is enough, moving to the Major. If not, I'm gonna redo the Refugee Camp again, gather all the evidence, rescue Biff and get all the info and proceed directly to the Major once more.
I already tried all possible outcomes with Biff. None worked. But let me know, Im curious
why recruit the major though? after you recruit him and rescue the president, the game is over. you literally never play the major in any missions.
Well, in this video, I attempted to find the fastest way to recruit him. And it's about halfway through the game.
There are 3 major ending, rescue president, kill corazon and kill colonel. You have to do all 3 to end the game.
The Major is not the real last boss. He is just a mino boss😂
@@handcannon9814 well, after i've beat him, the game was over so...
My first playthrough, I also did the Major last.
Yeah I am ddefintely not sparing the Major.
No chance
All former AIM members who take up arms against my custom mercs in the franchise have signed their own death warrants
He is kinnda cool tho
i cant recruit Pierre =( i let his father Hang ,,,his pissed at me .
ouch. next playthrough :)
@@hexxatgamingso if we kill pierre we cant hire major?
I think you still can. Someone brought out a theory that doing certain things befor fighting him gets you "rep" with him. For example, killing graaf gives 10. Each outpost controled 5 and so on. Pierre, they claim gives 25. So if you do enough outside of recruiting Pierre. It's still possible.
Oke..thank you
I'll try
Yes, hanging his father is one of the reason pierre will refused to join. If you spared his father, is a big influence.
thanks for the spoilers...
You are welcome
The slave master makes you quite a bit of money... not worth it
I know, right. That's why my first playthrough I couldn't recruit Pierre 😂
Ive only ever killed the slave master. Does the slave master actually earn more cash or just earns cash faster? Can you still recruit workers in fleetown and the refugee camp if yiu let him live?
The mine eventually runs dry, but is this determined by how much cash is generated or how much time you are in control of it?
Killing the slave master also earns a lot of rep with Pantagruel and rep also increases the yield of the mines, of which there are two in that region.
Killing him is the best way imo. Btw you can hire people from the refugee camp for extra income. Do it before THE event tho
@@ray_the_red8047 1. about 1K per day more
2. install mod "evermine", solves your mine runs dry problem
@dipperq it's not a problem, it's just the game, that mod seems more like a cheat no? Like adding in a shop to buy bullets.
If the mine never runs out, what does it matter how much it earns per day?
The major?? Thanks for the Spoiler then, I guess. Better not watch this video but seems to be a plot twist
Come back for your second playthrough!
@@hexxatgaming
So it is THE major?
Like I said, this is a massive spoiler then. Better change the title of your video to warn people. I am not too sensitive about spoilers, but this is something I wish I had not known tbh
I don't know. I dont want to spoil it for you.
@@hexxatgaming
My meaning was, that it already is a spoiler if the villain of this game apparently can be hired later in this game... But possibly all this is a misunderstanding
Isn’t the major the one who supposedly kidnapped the president?
I am just starting out
Just enjoy the game for now, and you will learn as you play that there's more to the story that appears initially.
DUDE!!! MASSIVE SPOILER!
Honestly, i dont care about JA 3!! There are no memorable caracter with interesting backstorys like the previous games...🙄
Im having a lot of fun with it
I honestly liked ja:back in action better.
@@marcinsobczak2485what a weird taste bro
@@handcannon9814 more guns, proper shop, camouflage, faster action, tanks, also original mercs and sound samples gave that game a proper feel.
@@marcinsobczak2485 imo, all merc faces look the same to me.
