- Electric/ambient guitar version of a timeless piece by Erik Satie. I'm not a classical guitarist, so it's probably not the best performance of all time, but I had fun doing it.
Gear:
PRS SE Custon 24
Neural DSP Archetype: Cory Wong (with Cloudseed reverb plugin)
Focusrite Scarlett 2i4

All that reverb. Very ethereal sound.
Thanks! Yes, it was the mood I was trying to achieve
I agree. I've listened to a lot of performances of this played on classical guitar, but this is the first time I've heard it on an electric. Nice!
Liked on the first two seconds. Loved in the first ten. Definitely, my favorite rendition of this song. I want this to play on loop at my funeral. Beautiful.
Man, I can't think of a better compliment! Thank you so much.

This is really really good. It sounds majestic, i also can imagine it playing it as background in series, movies, or trailers.
Thank you so much for your comment! I've heard piano and orchestral version of this piece as a soundtrack, but I would love to hear a guitar version in some movies, for sure!
Well done man 🖤 absolutely love it
Could you release a slowed version 🖤

Wow👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks!
Excellent rendition. Bravo!
Thank you so much!
I remember how many times I tried to find out the name of this melody as I remembered only that it has the characteristic part on the beginning. When I've finally found that it is Gnossienne No. 1 I've started to listening to versions done on other instruments until I've found this one. Now, I'm listening more often to this version than to the original
This is a huge compliment, I'm really happy that my version is appreciated. Thank you so much for your comment.
Vraiment très sympa !

Very interesting and intense. I am learning it on classical guitar atm. Inspiring 👏
"Inspiring" is one of the best comment I can think of. Thank you so much for your words!

Thank you David Dawson. ❤
Ahahahah Thanks man!
Good version, and I dig that PRS!
Thanks! Yes it's a nice guitar!
The goosebumps from this 😮😮 Please can i use this in a short film i am making with friends?
Sure! I'm happy that you find this version inspiring, just put my name in the credits please! And, if you don't mind, you can tag me, I'm curious to see the film!
❤
nice one !! thx
Thanks man!
i broke the replay button
ahahah that's one of the best comments, thanks!
i LOVE this. did you transpose it yourself?
Thank you so much! No, I've watched some videos of classical guitarists playing this piece and I've tried to learn from them
It sounds like Opeth, hahaha ... Amazing playing
Ahahah thanks man!
Great work. Can you try an electric unplugged version. Use heaviest guitar you have for the sustain, and perhaps go somewhere with good acoustics.
Thank you so much! Would be cool to play this in a cathedral or a similar place, but it's not possible for me at the moment. I would love to play this piece in a really cool place one day.
@@loremare_Great idea. Hope you can make it happen one day 😊
@@johncoppock3823 Thank you so much!! I hope so!
is this in standard tuning ?
Yes, standard tuning!
damn think that's enough reverb?
Reverb it's never enough ❤
