      hoping they increase their socket life span then i would seriously look at intel cpu's ..
      got the ARC770 for a all intel build ( my main is 7800x3d and 7900xtx ) but im quite impressed with the ARC770 for what it is ..
      Intel just need to cement themselves as a high quality budget GPU maker for a few years by gaining a good reputation and then take a swing at the other 2 ..

      I love mine.
      Not a single in-game crash or freeze since it was installed in mid-December.
      The early driver installer was problematic for my particular system but that was corrected with driver 4xxx.

      ARC loves cheap AMD too, seen countless budget or older Ryzen+ARC users rave about their experience with Intel's new gpu. Which is a nice boon as AMD users are typically far less conservative towards new hardware and seems AMD had made a big push for board partners to backport ReBAR to older motherboards for RDNA. Ours is with a 12700k, but as said would not hesitate to recommend them to team red users too.

    I paired my i7-12700k with an Arc A770 16GB LE. Thank you for this review. I bought the CPU and GPU not knowing how well they are paired up. nVidia is dead to me. I have supported them for the last 20+ years. No more. Keep up the great work guys. Excited to see what Intel has planned for their next Arc release GPU's.

      How is that working out for you? I have a 13900k running 32gb ddr5 5600 and an rtx 3060. Thinking about switching to an A770 for the 16gb gddr6. That plus the addition of AV1 as I do a lot of video editing. Do you think it's worth the upgrade?

    • @rickh8380
      @rickh8380 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@eggchucker666 I am in the gathering of parts for the build. I bought the i7-12700k because it was on sale on Amazon. I bought the A770 because I saw the price was beginning to rise. The RTX 3060 I believe is around the 3060 level of performance? There is a channel just for Content Creators called Tech Notice?. His site should hopefully be what you need? Intel drivers are only going to mature. Cheers

    Just so your sales and marketing teams are aware: As a consumer looking to buy upper-mid range, the price-to-performance of the current Alchemist cards are very appealing, and the driver improvements are very encouraging! The only thing stopping me from picking one up would be that my 1070 is still running. I'm very eager to see what Battlemage has to offer (in part because I love the name), and will heavily consider ARC as a future upgrade!

    • @volvot6rdesignawd702
      @volvot6rdesignawd702 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Intel ( for now ) need to stay in the lower budget market in my opinion taking a swing at AMD or Nvidia is going to end in failure both are just too big ..
      see at the moment if Intel can position themselves as the cheaper better alternatives to the 4060 7600 thats where they can plug away for a few years to build a solid reputation with drivers ,quality and market share in that sector ( we both know AMD and Nvidia are pushing out overpriced low end rubbish) because people are screaming for decent budget GPU's !!

    • @SIPEROTH
      @SIPEROTH ปีที่แล้ว

      To be honest i bought them because of curiosity and wanting to support a new effort(also they look nice) and not much for the price.
      I guess the Arc750 can be kind of good price between 200-250 but the Arc770 isn't really that good in price if we see what performance you can get from the others for similar price.

    Happy A770-LE 16GB user here. Such a great card for the price. Granted i'm pushing mine maybe a bit too much as my screen is UW4K (3840x1600), but still it's performing suprisingly well. I would say the sweet spot for it is 1440p though. Can't wait for the next line of GPU's, maybe it brings something to support the resolutions i'm gaming at a bit better. Keep up the good work.

    • @SIPEROTH
      @SIPEROTH ปีที่แล้ว

      The AV1 is good but i feel the pooped the bed with the A380. A 6GB vram card that gets beaten by the 6500xt. They cut it down too much while the A750 has very little cut down compared to A770.
      On top of that don't feel like they are focusing much on lifting it up s much considering they are focusing so much on A750(which makes sense is the best balanced card that most people will buy) etc.

      Hi! Kindly note that the power usage of Intel Arc Graphics cards varies significantly depending on factors such as the quantity of connected displays as well as the performance and refresh rate settings for each individual display. To resolve this issue, we suggest you to follow the troubleshooting steps via intel.ly/3NgPK5k If you are experiencing HDMI issues, we suggest enabling "Resizable Bar" on your system. To know in detail about the resizable bar , please visit intel.ly/43M8mje And try the latest beta driver version provided by Intel. Additionally, you can experiment with different refresh rate configurations on your screen, such as 30 Hz, 60 Hz, 90 Hz, and 120 Hz. If you encounter driver download issues, please note that Intel is currently investigating a problem that occurs during custom installation if the "Arc Control" component is not selected. If you are facing multi-screen issues, they are likely caused by Windows system-related factors. As it is a hardware issue, we recommend reaching out to Microsoft for support. You may contact them via intel.ly/3IV8K6X Please free feel to send us a direct/private message on Twitter, Facebook/Instagram. We will be happy to help

  • @novantha1

    Another strength of Arc you may want to note is that it integrates really well with Intel's OpenVino API. I've been getting into machine learning, and it's honestly a very attractive software initiative (I also think it's a bit undermarketed, as I kind of feel that on the Xeon side the accelerators are not as well marketed or understood, but I digress), and while I'm on ROCm atm (Ryzen + RDNA 2), I could definitely be swayed to consider some of the OpenVino conversion tools, particularly given the quantity of VRAM available in ARC GPUs, to say nothing of the fact that you can get a relatively affordable Xeon W x400 series workstation to pair with it, and not actually lose that much when splitting attention to CPU + Accelerators compared to other platforms, giving you a "practical VRAM rating" much higher than one might think (Back of the napkin math suggests the A770 16GB can function more like a 24-30GB card depending on how well you tune the model to your setup), but I've seen almost no coverage of this advantage.
    Given the rapid increase in the importance and use of popular AI models, from Stable Diffusion turning into something like a next-gen Photoshop, to Transformer Agents and Langchain allowing for plain English automation of complex and detailed tasks (some of which, such as document inquiries you may wish to run completely locally for privacy or security concerns) this seems like a killer feature of the Arc lineup, and I'd be very interested to see coverage of it, and tutorials on getting a variety of common tools up and running on Intel hardware!

      I'm an intel fan, but I can't help but thank AMD for what they did with the release of ryzen, bringing good competition to the cpu industry and benefiting the consumer with much better price to performance ratios. It was a wakeup call for Intel to step up their game. Intel is basically doing just that with their ARC graphics cards. I support them all the way.

I use an old ryzen system with a gtx 1050ti for encoding streams on a Plex server, and I would love to be able to encode all of my library using AV1 on an intel a380, but as far as i know Plex currently does not have support for dedicated intel gpu transcode (but it does support iGPUs)

    Have both your Arc750 and Arc770. Guys please do something about the power consumption in idle or when we don't do any heavy gaming etc. Also work more on how to make the cards work seamlessly without HDMI issues and driver download issues or multiscreen issues etc.
    Those few things should be put on top of priorities right now before you continue improving gaming performance that we absolutely love of course but when the card makes your life hard you start thinking twice about buying again which is why is important to show us that you can fix this stuff before releasing next line.

    Can you do a segment on multi gpu performance with Intel Arc, specifically on Davinci Resolve for encoding video?

    Is there any single slot half height available? A310 or arc pro a40 would be great. However not able to find any for sale online.

      Hello! Please note that the Intel Arc Pro A40, a high-performance gaming graphics card, is exclusively available from system manufacturers, such as laptops and other devices, and through a limited number of trusted system integrators. Therefore, we recommend reaching out to Matrox through their support website at intel.ly/3Wjbvo3 to inquire about the availability of the A310 single-slot, half-height card. Happy shopping.

    I hope you guys manage to overcome competitors with the next generation of intel cards, because we need good prices and quality, I'm from Brazil I already worked as a hardware computer technician today I'm unemployed unfortunately, but one of the things that was missing here when I worked was marketing, little was heard about the Arc line here, just by some youtubers,(sry my bad english😅)

    It is nice to see more competition into the GPU market. I'd love to see ARC work better on linux and AI workloads (Stable Diffusion is still a bit meh :/). Lowkey I can imagine Intel and AMD working together to take down Nvidia!! But all in all it is a bit amazing what Intel has done in what a year or something?

    I wonder what the older cpus like 9900k and 9700k would stack up against these scores? Lots of people like myself were able to get rebar working on z390 motherboards and purchased arc cards to extend the life of older platforms while supporting the new guy.

    13600k here, are you going to add more memory to the a750 and how are you working with davinci resolve? This is what's keeping me on the fence.
    The work you have done so far is ace. I've just switched over from being fully team red, and couldn't be happier so far with your CPU. Now I want to be fully team blue 😊

    Cool video and great cards but based on the actual substance being discussed, I'm still not clear on why it makes sense to spring for an i5 to pair with the A750 if the benchmarks suggest practically identical performance within 5% of the i3.

    Why we don't see A750 and a770 in Steam hw survey stats? Probably this chip is under Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics but it's unintuitive.
    And second question. Will Battlemag have a GPU for 1440p gaming?
