Fun Fact: The artwork of "Mordschlag" is based of a sword technique called "half-swording". Back in the old days, if your opponent was fully armored, a pointy piece of metal didn't do shit and trying to somehow cheese through the armour by somehow hitting them inside the armour was way too risky, so they used the sword like a warhammer to smack your opponent to death or destroy their armour to the point where your sword could do like any damage

best call would be to get a playset of gamma (if you do not already have one). There are so many spells that you want to resolve in this deck (tenki, obedience schooled, nadir) while starting your plays. But, knowing this series, your option shall be spicy
Question if obedience schooled gets ashed aren't we still under the beast only rule since only the search effect is negated? In my melffy tri-brigade deck I use to use obedience school to bait out the ash some times and someone told me ash only negates the search.

The effect doesn’t successfully resolve, so the restriction doesn’t take place! Easiest comparison is ash vs extravagance (you can still draw)
