Holy sh*t what an episode... Slacking off clubs, badges, coaches, boards (rightfully so), and lifting players by the ears... Absolutely loved it :)
That transfer budget was insane at the end. I think Luke deserves a 6th season to get revenge.
Might be good to have a "revenge" week at the end of the season where you revisit old saves.
10:33 Yeah, OHL's badge is really simplistic. But just so you know, that club has only been formed in 2002, as a merger between 3 other clubs. The red, green and black stripe each represent one of the clubs. And I guess the gray ball was added to make it look like a lil guy running over the field. So there is some symbolism. They're also the only team from Leuven that managed to stay in the top flight for consecutive years.
They're currently not doing that well, but they're a bit of a yo-yo club, so not very surprising.
Just wanted to mention this, as my dad is a fan of that team, and because of that I am too to a lesser degree.
Also, their mascot is a squirrel named Lionel. No idea why a squirrel, but yeah.
And one last thing, they have the same owners as Leicester

@@Victorvdw24 It's a term used for a team that switches between two tiers regularly, getting promoted and relegated between them fairly often. Since their first promotion to the Jupiler Pro League 13 years ago, they have spent 5 of those back in the Challenger Pro League and never reached higher than 10th in the JPL. Meanwhile never getting lower than 6th in the CPL.
So while they're good enough to dominate the CPL, they struggle with safely staying in the JPL.
Their form knows ups and downs, as is visible in their current ranking...tho in my biased opinion, that isn't entirely their fault

Epic rant after those consecutive minus transfer budgets 😂 Was close as it possibly could with those finals at the end. Funny how Dad was able to keep both of his strikers for whole rebuild and how good they were. I really enjoy target forwards in FM24 and Thiago looks like a perfect option. Great skills and cheap price to get him out of Belgium.

Yeah it is what a journey it has been never knew I needed these rebuilds as bad as we do but these guys are just so watchable glad that there channel is getting all the success it deserves
I would love to see a versus rebuild where Luke takes charges of Liverpool and Dad takes charge of Arsenal. Both managing the historic rivals of their favorite club!
But with a plot-twist: they will both need to do as much damage to the clubs as they can without getting sacked:)
Points are given for finishing lower, losing head to head games, losing cup fixtures to lower league teams and for relegation, of course, if it’s somehow possible to “achieve” this without losing the job

Belgian league is a fun save I was inspired by your use of Ernest Nuamah in OL and other saves to start a molenbeek (rectangle badge) save and managed to win the league in the 3rd season and finishing the regular season in 6th 😂 keep up the good work lads

I have 2 sugestions for videos: 1 would be a casual video where you and dad talk about your favorite clubs, how and why you ended up supporting those club and just football stuff in general, think that would be fun. And for a rebuild, I would love to see a Romanian rebuild, Rapid Bucuresti vs FCSB. Cheers!
You mentioned that when you asked the board to sign a player on your behalf that it was the first time it's happened to you, I do this pretty much every transfer window and get them to sign a player. The main thing to do is to sign a player who fits the boards promises etc sign players under 23 for the first team, also it helps to look at your clubs overall balance, as they tend not to sign a player who'd cost more that what the club currently has

First time commenting! Love the channel, love the video and absolutely adore the relationship you and your dad have. Have been watching your channel for a while now, I really do hope your channel continues to grow so your dad and yourself can make more fantastic content. Currently doing an Anderlecht save for the first time, also the first time ever coaching in the Belgium leagues. Rather enjoying it, trying to focus on bringing through youth whilst bringing in experienced Belgian players who have maybe fell out of favour at bigger teams. Decided to try a different style of tactic also with a left winger and left footed inside forward along with a defensive midfield Regista, which I have NEVER used but have fell in LOVE with haha! I'm sitting top unbeaten after 16 games. Hope all is well, hope the wrestling goes amazing and I hope your dad finds some more squad players!

Omegas great job again! 💪Since you mentioned my town Ljubljana, I hope maybe you will do one rebuild in Slovenia, since my father is born in Maribor and both Olimpija and Maribor are mortal enemies (and Maribor managed in near history to play in CL a couple of times, and Olimpija just managed to lose to Faroe Islands team in Europe 😅

As a Belgian (Union supp) I really enjoyed this one Guys! Finally you came to Belgium. A lot of the Spanish badges have crowns and stars in them. The belgian league crests were a mix of crowns, castles, and stars minus the lazy ones.

A player that i would never expect to see in one of your videos definitely is Bauermann, the CB that dad brought. A curiosity about him is that he was involved in a betting scandal here in brazil last year and in the present moment is in a 360 days punnishment from FIFA.

Haha some of the badges are weird/ugly indeed. At least we don't have a third of the league's clubs having just circles as badges like many other leagues... About the long name of KV Kortrijk: "Koninklijke Voetbalclub" just means "Royal Football Club". It's actually a very common name for clubs. KV Mechelen, Club Brugge KV, KVC Westerlo, KV Oostende (relegated last year), etc. For some reason FM doesn't show this KV for every club.
