so funny how you 2 can't get over the Miles Bridges situation. You want him off the team but the reality is he is the best player right now & the most reliable on the court. Get over it.
Undoubtedly not the best player. That dude is killing the team shooting 8 threes a game. Applying 0 rim pressure and averaging minimal rebound. I want him to stick around but he is not the best player.
Bridges is a decent 3rd option on a good team. But he is also a massive liability due to his actions and continued contact with this woman. Also, I don't want to pay 3rd option money (22mil+ a year) to a guy who could be held out 4 games of a 7 game series, cause his punk ass can't get into Canada.

We say this every year but this time, I truly believe it. Those trades instantly changed this teams culture, imo
I really believe that Rick Schnall and Gabe Plotkin want to identify, with the assistance of Foot/Ankle Orthopedic experts, the root cause of Melo's ankle problems and put together an effective strength & conditioning program to mitigate any future problems. Perhaps the current medical staff doesn't have expertise in Foot/Ankle Orthopedics. I mean if we keep doing what we;ve always done, don't be surprised if we get the same results.
On another note, it sounds like Rick & Gabe are on the right track with their recent decision to partner with Novant Health medical as part of the new Hornets training facility. Years ago, I worked at a hospital that included a center for Foot&Ankle Orthopedic specialties. At that time, there was a world-renowned physician who was the head of the Foot&Ankle Center. His patients included a few NBA stars who flew out to his practice to get treatments. It was an impressive facility that also included a half basketball court. Imagine having s similar type of expertise available at the Hornets' training facility.

I really relate to your reaction to Jeff Peterson being younger than you Doug. I’m still trying to come to terms with NBA players being younger than me (I’m like a week younger than LaMelo) so I get a little weirded out like that too lol. I also hope that a Peterson-Peterson connection forms and Buzz is allowed to stay in some capacity!
