Honestly if you want to start the game or start with family, I would suggest to start on mischief as any loot you want you can get.. if dont raid you can still get top gear your not limited. And there a lot of ppl there prolly staying..
I'll be doing Yelinak. I've played EQ since the original Kunark release and was clueless then. I didn't get up to speed until maybe PoP was released, due to RL and such. So enter the TLP servers - I always seem to join up in October or so, when it starts to cool off outside and play to GoD or so.. when it starts to warm up outside. So this time, I decided to 'quit' Mischief a bit earlier to avoid burn-out and want to do EQ from Classic to whenever, for once! So I guess that's one reason one might to play on this server.. at least for me it is. Thanks for all your videos - they are quite helpful.
Kelethin,worst starting town,I'm ok with a longer time for expansion unlocks,not really ok with an exp rate increase,I enjoy the leveling process.(on Vaniki)
from my little knowledge, they are putting open world targets as the reward bosses. not sure after tss + but the first few can all be zerged open world.
Looking back a year ago when the stupid folks at EQ decided these servers would be fun for the population....and well they drove me away and more. Sad they keep not listening to the people who are willing to spend money on this game. Several accounts, several computers = monthly income for them but those people don't matter. Sucks. Great old game to come back to every now and then but the only good server is Agnarr and even after a few years that gets super boring. If anyone working at EQ is reading this, make more servers like Agnarr! Make one that is locked at OOW as an example. Kezzan here made a great vid saying which locked progression servers would be a good idea and I agree with him!

Only way I'd jump over is if they opened Mercs @ Lvl 1 since I can't box & typically solo

Vaniki has been a ton of fun. We only had to get to 40, and my guild has been raiding a lot.

Vaniki XP rate at launch is set to the GoD boosted levels. So it does have high XP rates in comparison.

BEST duo /trio for leveling , potentially building a group or just relying on a duo? 1 of us is really hooked on playing chanter or shammy
Vaniki would be a huge success if EQ was a more popular game, but a fringe ruleset on a fringe MMO wont cut it.
