    WOW! I wiped down the pitcher and inside the slot. Barely dampened the paper towel, but apparently just enough. Pitcher is filled!!!!! Thank you

      The sensor is behind the black hole in the bottom center. l guess the goal is no water or condensation anywhere in or near that hole.

    Very helpful! This issue is present right out of the box with brand new refrigerators as well. After getting my fridge installed, I noticed that the pitcher was only filling up half way each time. Tried a few things and nothing really worked...and then watched this video. All I did was dry off the outside of the pitcher, and it auto filled up the rest of the way. Thank you very much!!

    This was very helpful tip. Thank you. I fixed mine by looking under the pitcher container shelf, there is a cap, hold a cup and take out the water. Sometimes it gets filled with water.

    Great fix. I knew it had to be something simple going on I kept wiping areas on top thought it was just not sensing the pitcher being in all the way. After seeing this I wiped off the sensor on bottom with paper towel and all was good filled right up. Just have to not be so sloppy and quick to put back in after pouring or just a quick pat of the pitcher on a towel or your shirt to wipe away the water that dribbles down front of pitcher before you put back in is working for our household.

    Great tip!! It worked. Cleaned the sensor with an alcohol swab and it started filling back up

    Also, if you don't insist on cold water, another trick is to keep the water pitcher outside the fridge until you are getting ready to use it. Storing it inside the fridge can cause condensation at cold temperatures--which may require you to dry it and wipe it down more. At room temperature, it is much easier to clean. Either way, the goal is to keep everything dry.

    Just wanted to add if you accidentally misplaced it and it started to leak the water has a catcher on the bottom of it so if you look at the compartment under the pitcher there’s a nozzle. Place a cup and empty it. For the that fixed the problem. Thanks for the video!

    When you first got the fridge installed how long did it take for the pitcher to fill up?

      This is a minor issue and maybe an ice cube or 2 fall out every now and then from ice maker. Outside of that perfect. You may find a different company where water works great but 5 other things don't. There will always be something

      @@kenankadic9024 poor statement. If you can't get a pitcher to not leak, or ice routinely blocks the drain or freezer stops working, 5 minutes of Google and there's well known problems for years not being addressed

    What he left out is that there is a drain plug underneath the pitcher holder on the fridge door that you can open to drain out any excess water that built up.

    How do we fix the leaking tho?

    • @amrajunuzovic8339
      @amrajunuzovic8339 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am not sure. One option is to buy another pitcher but the going story is that in a month or two the new one will do the same. The sensor is in the back through the black hole on the bottom center. Seems if water goes through there it won't fill.

    I just bought one it hasn’t filled since I had it

  • @luislgr7

    Those aren’t sensors bro , they’re covers for screws

    • @amrajunuzovic8339
      @amrajunuzovic8339 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The exact location of the sensor is in the center, at the bottom through that black hole--on the back. If water gets through that little black hole it reaches the sensor on the back of the wall.
