Hello on the first position , while the head is on the arm, does it not hurt their ear

No - they’ll just be resting on your arm.

Hi, to latch...am I to wait till the baby stretches their lip over my nipple themselves? Seems like my girl stretches then stops too soon, how do I fix that?

So yes ideally once you see them stretching a wide open mouth you'd then pull them in firmly with your supporting hand. If you notice your little one is struggling to open a wide mouth it may be due to jaw/neck tension or tongue restriction. Especially if your little one has a tongue tie or if you had a very quick or very long labour, or birth by forceps or vacuum etc. :) I've got a video going up in a few weeks on stretches/exercises you can use to help with this ;)

Yes, you are so right. I have the same issue here. The baby stretch and stop too soon. My birth is by forceps. This really really helped me. Thanks a lot! @@alissabrownibclc
