YES i am so excited to see more of your adventures!! Lifestyle & tutorials PLZ 💗 Take us with you on a photoshoot!! love you guys and so excited for you!!
@@ZoeandMaxVideos bontragers surplus in white pigeon michigan , ask for skylar and tell him cajun sent ya. They purchase all the nos rv mfg parts from jayco / coachmen. I just installed a dometic box awning( i will load a video soon ) you guys have great content also so i subbed your channel.
Vanlife2024! Such an exciting time. New van, new build, new adventure. Congratulations! You’re awesome guys! I bought my van in the beginning of 2020. Still building it 😂
My vision and choice of materials: Floors: 3/4” acrylic square tubes for joists, coosa board, 3M thinsulate between the ribs, 2tech2 woven vinyl flooring on top. Cabinets and framing: T-slotted aluminum profile (like 8020) Cabinet surfaces - bamboo Wall panels - marine plywood upholstered with marine vinyl Lots of L-track throughout the van (like adventure wagon) Theme: minimalistic
Good, enjoy the build process! I would put your Maxxair fan in some corner (in the bathroom probably) so it leaves the most roof space for planned (and maybe not-yet-planned) solar panels. With good window placement it will give a breeze into any part of the van. Get the version with the remote. :) As for windows, I'm a TH-cam watcher with no experience in this, but I'd spend the extra money for Arctic Tern windows, to get the insulation value when closed, and because they open at the bottom instead of sliding so they can be used to ventilate on drizzly nights. And they come with bug and privacy screens, super convenient. Edit: other benefits of the fan in the shower include steam exhaust of course, and the fan's skylight effect, bringing in light.
❤❤❤❤❤You have no idea how happy I am to see you again. I usually see you on Instagram, but it's not the same. I look forward to seeing lots of videos about your life on board the new Van.
Promaster was the way to go! My first build was a Promaster, then I built a 4x4 Sprinter. I’ve decided to build my third van, and I’m back to the Promaster and stoked!🤘🏻
We were sad at the start too… we had no idea how long it would take us to save up. Luckily we did it in two years! We have so many amazing videos planned. Thanks for coming back!❤❤
Zoe and Max when I've learned from Van life building use Baltic birch for the wood and treated waterproof mold proof wood very strong havelock wool for installation easy to work with looking forward to your new build David the traveling ferret 2024
For the floor, I would recommend to stay away from wood altogether (even the treated one like marine plywood). There is a new trend in yacht industry - composite materials. You never have to dread about mold or decomposition. I’m specifically talking about Coosa Board. It is half as light as a sheet of plywood, completely waterproof. Watch MoonrakerDesigns floor video. He discusses it there.
Wanna hear and see it all. I’m not on any social but discovered you long time glad your back on TH-cam fill us in about it all your photography , living life and family . Hope there all well Carnot wait till the next blog🇬🇧❤️
This is sooo amazing! I can’t wait to see your whole journey! And definitely build a water slide in the back!!!!!! Jajajaja looking forward to follow the van adventures ✨
Vanlife2024 ;) Question, looking at a 159 Ext and we're planning a layout now. You're one of the few with a factory bulkhead between the seats and back that I've seen! Any chance you could provide some measurements for us? 1) Height from the floor until the bulkhead starts to come out into the back of the van 2) How far into the doorway the bulkhead juts out 3) Narrowest part of the ceiling from right to left. Thanks!
@@Fmstrat thank you so much for watching! We will have to get back to you on that- we are travelling til the 7th! I will add that to my notes 😄 if we forget please leave us another comment and we will for sure get you that info!
Do you guys have a patreon account? I never had the fortune to do things like this when I was your age. When you're young you have the energy but no or little money and vice versa when you're older. Through Patreaon people (me first) would like to contribute to your adventure. Life is short and gotta live it...quickly. Take care you guys and god bless you guys!
