Amazing ! This finally clicked. I think I watched three other videos last night and called it quits. This morning I started with a new search via my browser, found your website That lead me to your video! I’m so excited to say I did the letter A 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you Tamara Kelly! With the help of your video I could follow the written pattern and make a beautiful yellow "A". Also made the "R", I found myself ending with the hook inside the loop or curve of the R before starting to make the last small tail! Read the pattern but couldn´t see where I was wrong so I just added another row and voilá! Thank you!
LicMairi I have tried this R for ha,f of my day! I repeat row 7 and 8 6 times are you saying add in one more row 7 and then continue! I am about to give up! Thanks! Ricki
I agree with Steph. I ant find anyone else making videos on how to crochet numbers. Do you have any or an you make some please. I like your letter videos by the way.
There are written patterns for all of the letters and I've almost completed charts for all of them as well, but I do not currently plan on making videos for all of them. The A was the only one that seemed to give people real trouble.
Ok. Well my s turned into a 2. I don't know how that happened. Now I have to figure out the 4. I am very New to this. Thank u for your help. Great work. Keep u with the videos.
I love the way you make the a. My question is I would like to make a bigger a for the middle of blanket. Could you please give me the measurements for a larger one please
Would there be 29 or 28 chains left after we single crochet in the 2nd chain from hook? I’ve gotten to row 2, where as you sc 12, sc2tog(3), then sc over next 12, but I would end up with 11 left over.
I am making a 'Merry Christmas' bunting and your letters are fabulous! However, i want to leave them free form and not put them on a triangle or anything but the letters do not hold their shape. I thought about stitchin 2 together and stuffing them but are you able to suggest anything else? Thanks
Hi Rebecca! I would work a sc edging all around, and then block them - here's a tutorial for that: www.mooglyblog.com/steam-blocking-cotton-killing-acrylic/ :D
+Tamara Kelly. Do u have any videos on numbers. Need a 2 and a 4 . I can't do it by chart or pattern. I need a video. Lol. Can I help??? Please. U seem to be really good. Also looking for a new orleans saints symbol .. Only one I could find was ones u have to pay for. Not doing all that. If u can help . let me know Please. And thank u
what size hook did you use there are different small size hook . there are 3.0mm hook, 2.75mm hook ,1.00mm hook. it help to tell what size hook you use when doing a tutorial . most tutorial start out with what hook size hook they are using in the tutorial .Thanks
Ok, I'm confused. Start with a chain of 30, start with the second stitch from hook, sc in back bump for 12 stitches (12), sc two together skipping the middle stitch (3), then sc last 13 stitches (13). Ok, 12+3=15; 30-15=15 or 12+3+13=28. What do i do with the last two stitches? Lmao what did I do wrong?
I need to make the letters J and O. I would like them to be the same size as your A. No one does the whole alphabet. Any a chance you can do tutorials on those (if not the rest of the alphabet)?
From her web page: The specific yarn weight and hook size doesn’t really matter for these, as long as you use a hook size a couple sizes smaller than you normally would for that yarn. The bigger you go, the bigger the letters! Use thread and a steel hook for tiny crochet alphabet! These letters, made using the hook and yarn listed, were about 3 1/2″ tall. Leave long tails at either end if you plan on sewing these to another piece of fabric!
+Alejandra Gamero It's not a stand alone video, please see the written pattern linked in the description for more details. If you need to slow it down, you can use the gear on the video to change the speed. :)

I did it!! I would have never gotten this letter without your video. Thanks so much! Both of my sons have an A in their names.
Thank you so very much for the alphabets. I need to learn how to crochet number's now !
would you consider doing a video for all of the letters? I've tried reading the patterns but I couldn't figure them out...

Very helpfull and easy to see!
Thank you for the wonderful tutorial! How would you recommend to make one in half the size? I wanted to put one on a newborn beanie as a decal.
I would recommend crochet thread and a very small hook! :)
If you want an answer after 6 years, I used embroidery thread and 2mm needle!
thank you very much for the tutorial :) pleaseee can you make the letter M ?
There are written patterns for all of the letters and I've almost completed charts for all of them as well, but I do not currently plan on making videos for all of them. The A was the only one that seemed to give people real trouble.

Do you have a video for letter H?
I love the way you make the a. My question is I would like to make a bigger a for the middle of blanket. Could you please give me the measurements for a larger one please
Liz Steele For a larger one, just use a thicker yarn and bigger hook. :)
Thank you so much for your help. Looking forward to more of your videos
Can you do a tutorial on the letter T I am having a hard time figuring it out thank you....... love your channel
Becky
awesome ! thanks so much for sharing!!
Just comparing my A to other A's I love your A! Looks very neat, great job (^-^)

I’ve gotten to row 2, where as you sc 12, sc2tog(3), then sc over next 12, but I would end up with 11 left over.
Something is wrong I have 14 remaining after I sc 2 together n skip middle. I guess is sc 13 at the beginning and not 12

have you done anymore videos on the rest of the alphabet and on numbers?
No, unfortunately my schedule doesn't allow it. The written patterns, many of which are charted, are linked in the video description.
how would you make this letter a larger size?
Brandi Seitz-Graham you could double yarn and use a bigger hook, or thicker yarn, slightly bigger hook so the stitches arent too tight
what size hook did you use there are different small size hook . there are 3.0mm hook, 2.75mm hook ,1.00mm hook. it help to tell what size hook you use when doing a tutorial . most tutorial start out with what hook size hook they are using in the tutorial .Thanks
+Denise White This one I used an F hook. The point of this alphabet though, is that you can use any yarn and hook size you choose. :)

sc in 2nd chain from hook THEN do 12, sc3tog and you have the right count. I hope your project succeeded 6 months ago 😜

You'll find the whole alphabet at www.mooglyblog.com/the-moogly-crochet-alphabet/
Thank you so much! I really love your videos and how precise you are. Loved hearing cubs in the background, too. ;)
Will you be doing the other letters?
What's the hook size you used???
what size hook did you use?
Oh ok where do you find the written patterns?

Yes, the full alphabet, upper, lower, numbers and symbols are on Mooglyblog.com:)
@@mooglyblog2:22

A thinner yarn and smaller hook! :)
The A was the toughest letter by far!
Tyvm
Is there a tutorial for each letter?
There are written patterns, and some have charts, but this is the only video. :)

Thank you for this video.
Do you have an actual written pattern

There are written instructions and a chart at wp.me/p2a5Jp-1Iv and I can help you with any questions!
Ahh ok thank you so much
Why don’t do the v and then do the middle and if this for beginners it to fast and you don’t tell me what patterns that is why it so confusing
There is a link in the video description above (youtube won't allow links on comments so I can't post it here, alas). :)
ما شاء لله جميل
You start with 13 sc, not 12!
That’s right cause it wasn’t adding up
It wont wirk
I'm sorry you're having trouble Kyla. Have you tried the written instructions or the chart, linked in the video description?
estan bonitos pero no puedo inglés
You are really bad at demonstrating this. It was really hard to see and you weren’t clear at all with how to do it. Disappointing.
Too fast on most of it. 😐
go to the setting cogs and select playback and set it to a slower playback speed :)
Only god knows what you are doing here.. lol xD you go too fast and explain almost nothing... I get lost with every new stick you make.
+Alejandra Gamero It's not a stand alone video, please see the written pattern linked in the description for more details. If you need to slow it down, you can use the gear on the video to change the speed. :)
