"Silk Mountain," original Virtual Boy chiptune song made in Furnace

- Made as a tribute to the wonderful composer Kinuyo Yamashita who worked on Castlevania among many other games. I borrowed one of Yamashita's chord progressions from her music in Power Blade 2 and wrote a new song. It grew in its own direction but I always wanted it to sound like a valid homage to Yamashita's catchy action game tunes for Konami and Natsume.
Written in hardware accurate Virtual Boy chiptune instructions using the free tracker Furnace, by tildearrow.
The title "Silk Mountain" is an homage to Kinuyo Yamashita based on her name. Yamashita or 山下 means "beneath the mountain," while the kanji in Kinuyo 絹代 mean "silk" and "age/generation."
I'm really proud of this one, and I hope you enjoy! - เพลง
Wow! It's pretty rare to listen to an actual Virtual Boy tune. Excellent composition. Real Castlevania vibe here ✨️

You have done a wonderful job with this song. Quite an enjoyable tune!
Thank you so much!!
Awesome! Excellent work with the composition. It's nice to hear the completed tune. :D
(Plus I can totally see this as the BGM track to an NES game.)
Thank you so much!! I’m glad it turned out well 😅 and I think once I figured out the intro, the rest of the tune came much easier.
