I just moved my juvenile blue tongue skink up into a 4ft by 2ft Zen Habitats enclosure and I couldn't be happier! In my opinion, blue tongue skinks need at least a 4ft enclosure by the time they reach maturity. My blue tongue lizard is an Indonesian, so he needs really high humidity. Thats why i went with a nice bioactive mixture for the substrate, that way I can mist everyday and not have to worry about mold. For the substrate, I used a mixture of organic top soil, play sand, cocoa fiber, spagnum moss, and forest floor. He loves to bury himself in it. I didn't show myself adding the isopods and springtails because they were already in his 40 gal that he was being housed in, so obviously I just added his prior substrate to the new substrate. Sorry I didn't get a timelapse of me adding the silicone and substrate to the background, but hey, at least you are getting to see the final product!
