It’s very rare for a Swedish player to transfer from a native club in Sweden to a top club in any of the big 4 leagues. They usually begin their journeys in lower-mid table clubs in Belgium or Holland. Hugo Larsson went from Malmo to Frankfurt last summer and that has been a success, but is Frankfurt a top club? I want to add in that in Swedish Football, and especially Djurgården long passes are not part of the program, Djurgården is a VERY defensive team, that likes posession and short passes.
You say something very important here: Bergvall does not have the pace to play on the wing in Ange's system, because he won't be able to take on a full-back with direct dribble or speed. That's exactly the problem Kulesevski has playing out wide --he is unable to beat a fullback 1v1.
Spurs have got pacey wingers coming out their eyeballs like 4 identical fast, slight, dribble specialists with a good cross (in the style of Johnson) they just don’t get any game time and rumours are some at least are looking to leave plus they just signed Werner, and they’re still looking for proper dedicated wingers particularly if Son takes up a more central role which is possibly his best position at the moment. Bergvall wasn’t signed for the wing more of a 6 or 8 to help out / compete with Maddison it looks like perhaps, Not a bad midfielder to learn from either. Playmaker I think could be the idea and the new philosophy that came with Ange and focusing on getting young talent, Barca actually really wanted Bergvall and was in talks with him and tried to sign him apparently but he ultimately chose Tottenham so that might say something about where players see the trajectories and projects going on at the clubs at the moment, anyway great news for Spurs
I'm a fan of Djurgården (The club Bergvall plays for) and I mean, our league is pretty shit. He is indeed confident on the ball but in the Swedish league you get so much time, so you barely get any pressure on you. Will be interesting to see how he can perform when the game gets more physical. I want him to do well, but I expect him to actually be a contender for a starting position in late 2025 or early 2026.
Usch.
Lad looks talented...but i dont think jumping from the Swedish league to the Premier League is the best move. He would have done better moving to a top Dutch or German team (other than Bayern)...proving himself in those leagues for 2/3 years...then making a big move to a top English or Spanish club.
amazing breakdown. Nice player too. But to be frank I think his ballstriking seems even more subpar than you let on. Sure he is young but a great balltouch should be far more along by now for him to live up to his potential... I'm afraid. But I hope it develops well =D
Why are we buying so many young players with potential… levy is only buying players for long term investment instead of finishing top 4 or winning a trophy
When the season here ended there were talks about a fee of 5-6M but then the hype came. For me he is a very good talent but is not even near Djurgårdens best player. I just hope he doesn’t get benched for 2 years straight which is very likely. Would prefer if he went to a smaller club like Hugo Larsson did.

You say something very important here: Bergvall does not have the pace to play on the wing in Ange's system, because he won't be able to take on a full-back with direct dribble or speed. That's exactly the problem Kulesevski has playing out wide --he is unable to beat a fullback 1v1.
He's beat plenty, sure he's not as pacy as some wingers, but he is fast.
Usch.
Kobbie Mainoo soon or to early yet?
Lucas bergvall to good and very good 👍👍👍
I hope Ange gives him game time
where is yamal vid?
Lamine Yamal bro we need it
Out Next.
Lad looks talented...but i dont think jumping from the Swedish league to the Premier League is the best move.
He would have done better moving to a top Dutch or German team (other than Bayern)...proving himself in those leagues for 2/3 years...then making a big move to a top English or Spanish club.
I think he is a future 6!
He is a 8 and 10 barley plays as a 6
brother make a video on lamine please?....love from Bangladesh
\
How good is Wataru Endō ?
How good is kobbie?
Bro is gorgeous
Get Jimbo Madders out of that team for this man!
Lol
They have madder why this signing maybe spurs saw him as a bargain
Kobbie mainoo
I hope he's not the next Mudryk
He looks like he'll be a De Jong
MUFC must sign him.
Ffs spurs? When? 🤢
He played at Djurgården he’s tainted
"how good is Lamine Yamal" been waiting for forever bruh 😫💔💔
Out next.
amazing breakdown. Nice player too. But to be frank I think his ballstriking seems even more subpar than you let on. Sure he is young but a great balltouch should be far more along by now for him to live up to his potential... I'm afraid. But I hope it develops well =D
Why are we buying so many young players with potential… levy is only buying players for long term investment instead of finishing top 4 or winning a trophy
lamine yamal broooo
Aleix garcia please
enzo topping all these stats is even more proof to me that poch might be our worst ever manager
Out of his depth for sure
Always blame the manager... If this many managers have had to go in such short time, you can't make the connection that there are other issues?
@@alexisphade4486 You have to watch games brother. Too many glaring issues in the way poch sets up and where he chooses to play our players.
@@Daakkii Oh yeah? Sounds like you know tactics and see better what the players can do on training than he does, are you a coach there?
Matt Damon signed for us?
Max potential 76 really? Swedish people doesnt even rate him that high...
Do you talk to many "Swedish people"?
He is the biggest transfer in the history of Allsvenskan. Yes, swedish people rate him high. It would be pretty crazy not to..
Give us lamine or we riot!
I'd prefer he goes on loan and is given time to develop. 18-22 is a key age where regular game time is essential.
18 tho not 17
Was it his bday a few days ago
He looks skillful but a lot of the skills are unnecessary
welcome to spurs........get it up ye barca
