I wish I knew about the pandas were leaving months ago. I would’ve made a trip to visit the zoo. I didn’t hear about it until the final day

Dear American friends, we're leaving the Smithsonian's National Zoo to return to China. Thank you for your love and care. We're saddened by Ya Ya's troubles in Tennessee. Thankfully, a recent video shows her improved health in Beijing.

Smithsonian spends ONE MILLION DOLLARS A YEAR on the pandas.

My understanding is that unlike pandas in South Korea where a lot of Chinese in China appealed to let them continue to stay in Korea, American born Chinese and native Chinese can’t wait to sent these panda back to their hometown China. Doesn’t that say something?
China should refrain from sending pandas to countries with hostile relations, especially when the well-being of pandas like Ya Ya at the Tennessee zoo is in jeopardy. Fortunately, a recently released video shows a significant improvement in Ya Ya's health after her return to the Beijing Zoo.
