NOTE:
I have been sitting on this footage for 10 years. Why it's been sitting, gathering dust has been a hard one to answer. I believe the closest response I can formulate is that I've been dodging the bittersweet feeling of watching such a great band exit the stage for the final(?) time. #rallyhall
However, since this is the 10 year anniversary (as of writing), I decided to go through the footage and put something out to honor the band's legacy, and most importantly, bring more attention to Coz Baldwin's GoFundMe.
Please consider donating to Coz, the ultimate Tally Hall fan and webmaster of Hidden In The Sand (www.hiddeninthesand.com/).
Thank you, Coz. - เพลง

It makes me so sad to see the tally hall fade from public knowledge i desperately want tally hall to recognized as one of the best indie rock bands of all time
They had sudden resurgence in popularity a few years back. They didn't even actually come back, they were unearthed like an old treasure chest. I would love for them to come back, but unfortunately I don't think they're going to...

the things i would do to see this band live. I was a little kid when they were together so I never really got a chance to enjoy them in their prime. this means a monumental amount to me and im sure others.
same. this tour is probably only half a year later than what i suspect is my earliest memory (my mother telling me she was having a third kid, i was ~3). i would do so many things if it meant these guys would get back together even just once. if something happens to one of them before they get the chance for a reunion concert i will genuinely cry. no joke. i have in fact cried over this possibility multiple times at 1:00 in the morning. g&e feels like a really nice end to tally hall’s career (fate of the stars specifically) so i would be fine if they didn’t make any new songs but PLEASE I NEED THEM TO PLAY TOGETHER EVEN JUST ONCE. i haven’t even watched this concert past bora’s intro because i can’t stand the agony of knowing that this is from 2011 (before i was even in preschool! ages before my youngest brother was even conceived!!!) & yet it’s their most recent tour. i can’t stand it. i will live to old age if for nothing else than to see these guys live on stage while i’m absolutely bawling my eyes out because finally. finally
no literally!! :(
I wasn’t even born until a few years after the band was created, and by the time I was old enough to like their music they had broken up. However, several things are hinting at a return for their 20th anniversary…
I was born in 2006 so it’s sad I cannot experience this amazing band
i was born a few months before their last performance. if tally hall ever got back together, I would do ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING to see them live.

I hope they make a comeback. If I remember correctly, they never actually broke apart, but are on indefinite leave because they weren't popular enough 😭
Not exactly that they weren’t popular enough. It’s more that they each had other things they wanted to focus on. Zubin and Ross on school, Rob on his work with Disney, Joe on Miracle Musical, and Andrew on being wholesome.

the crowd made a polyrhythm on good day and i think thats pretty darn cool
what's that
A polyrhythm is a musical technique in which two or more rhythms with different meters or time signatures are played simultaneously. This results in an intricate and complex rhythmic pattern that can add depth and complexity to a musical composition. Polyrhythms can be found in various musical genres, including classical music, jazz, African music, and many forms of traditional and contemporary music from around the world.
For example, one common polyrhythm is the three-against-two rhythm, where one part of the music is in triple meter (three beats per measure) while another part is in duple meter (two beats per measure). This creates a simultaneous juxtaposition of the two different rhythmic patterns, adding a layer of complexity and interest to the music.
Polyrhythms can be challenging to perform and require a strong sense of timing and coordination from the musicians involved. When executed effectively, polyrhythms can contribute to the overall richness and complexity of the musical composition, creating a captivating and dynamic listening experience for the audience.@@tobyisawesome

"would it be appropriate to define that as epic?" - Joe Hawley, 2011
Tally Hall preforming “Happy Together” is something I never knew I always needed 😅
there's something so poetic and bittersweet about "the whole world and you" being the last song they all performed together...hell the whole video kinda feels like that, watching it in 2023
i love how incredibly psyched the crowd was here, it's what these guys deserve!
That "Yaaaargg!!" at the end of "Welcome to Tally hall" was insanely close to the original
i will never forget the person screaming "&!" in the second verse of &
What's sad is that these types of recordings of concerts are never as good as being their live... I'm sure it was amazing.

I hate no one applauded at the beginning of this song. You & Me is my most favorite song by them. Robs voice and that guitar are perfect. I would be screaming in happiness. At least people clapped at the end. This song needs more attention.
Also shame they didn’t play Ruler of Everything and Banana Man.
I love you & me as well!! I would be screaming if I even got to see them live in the first place lol. Also, they didn’t play those songs because this tour was in direct promotion of G&E.
Ruler of Everything's vocals are almost totally edited, it would sound incredibly different and hard to re create.
