He felt bad calling her "chick" or "bird" so he gave a simple name Filo, which made her very happy too. Also naofumi freaked out so much when she turned into a filolial queen that he accused the slave trader that he sold him an egg that wasnt a filolial haha

Actualy, in the books it says that someone that grinded like mad, they would only get about 30 levels. I think the record before Naofumi was 32 levels during the entire activation event, which was blown out of the water by (i think) 37 levels gained by Naofumi (never mind Raphtalia or Filo) who just did his thing like most people. Yeah if you didnt read the novels or at least the manga, you would probably just think the cal mira archipelago was just a normal island that just so happens to have an activation event after naofumi was proven innocent. You wouldn't know the significance of the islands (since they were ued by the heroes and also renowned for their curse-healing hot springs)

The guys except Naofumi are caught peeping and the Shield hero party take this opportunity to take a private spring. THIS CAN BE AN OVA, he can also give a recap

It is sad it takes a REALLY LONG WHILE for the plot to explain that it is not that he "does not notice", it is that he "can't notice". His trauma (and curse) is too deep, so no love allowed.

I kind of want a FMA: brotherhood style of this first season. I feel so many cool moments where cut out or down graded because of time constants and budget limitations. (Every production has them.)
I think they should have ended the season's story with the trial and stretched the story out a little bit. That's an obvious conclusion to a story arc, and would give time required to expand on details that had to be cut. Of course, that would mean waiting a while for FUUUEEEEEEE, but I think we could survive the wait.

Or you know, they have to find a way to fit all of the information into a 23 mins episode. If there weren't any sort of time restriction on how long an episode could be, they probably would have adapted all of the lore and background elements into the show.
This arc is one where i liked more the Webnovel than the Light novel. I found it very interesting how the arc focused on the other hero parties and raphtalia's reactions to how the other heros work is priceless! Also it showed how much more mature Naofumi became, when he talked how Raphtalia idealized him. Also, i liked a lot more on how shadow literally became part of Naofumi's party because of the events. I also enjoyed how Glass and co. where a lot more misterious with less participation in the plot.
I remember my shock when watching "The Sheild bro show" when one minute best girl was a child and the next minute she's tripled in size and has become furry bate
I just started reading the novel for vol 1-3 so far. And it felt like reading a imagery of the anime and manga. But in greater detail of characters, personality and history within the story plot.
Although I can see why the anime writers decided to focus more on the interactions between Naofumi and L'arc, I would have liked a little bit more lore of Calmira.
So is this channel like a comics explained for manga? I'll sub if true and to be fair i read all of this manga a while back but it was kinda nice to have someone else read it and point out the differences between the anime version.
3:10 the whole thing about Raphtalia and Filo having somewhere to go after Naofumi's gone makes me think of a father sending his daughters off to be adults. Or in Filo's case married maybe?😝 In anycase shows what a good Dad he is. 😋

you do realize naofumi's party was only underleveled cause the other 3 heroes got a serious head start while the kingdom did literally everything in their power to hinder and slander him right?

Who else thinks the anime should have ended when Naofumi walked away from the castle with his name cleared? Seriously, the 1st season should have been the "clearing his name" arc, and the second season should have opened with the aftermath by making Naofumi interact with the other heroes to plan for their leveling up trip. L'arc should have been introduced around ep 6 of season 2, and ep 12 should have been the episode where Motoyasu tosses the kigurumi girl onto Naofumi's hands.

Wow... I get entirely different point of view on Tate no Yuusha thanks to this video! This story seems to be so much richer than the anime presented it to us.
I dont like how anime cuts or changes a lot of content from LN, some of which is very important when you look at the whole picture of the story. For example how anime massacred queen. It still hurts me.
While in LN , The Heros Meeting was able to continue after the shouting contest ,where Naofumi reveals about the Monster Traner Shield ,& the Slave User Shield ,but the 3 idiot don't believe him at all.
A big thing while I'm reading Volume 5 is that "Nice Guy", the Pro-Demi-Human Noble. He was not with them in the village either. He was in fact fatigued and sick from evading the church and Trash. So the Queen did what she could to safely bring him back to his post while he recovers. Keel is also a question mark as far as his status goes until the end of Cal Mira. And I believe he doesn't actually show up until the 6th volume.
Shield Hero S1,Ep.1-21 ,as a whole feels like 1 Big around Arc ,where in Ep.1 Naofumi is falsely accused crime , losing what small amout of respect / trust ,the normal people had for him ,then In Ep.21 , at the end of the Ep. , Naofumi ,& his party leaves the castle now that the True of the false crime is reveal , also Ep.22 ,is like an epilogue , where the 3 idiots heros shared 4 thing that they agree on ,but then when the meeting move to Power-Up method ,the idiot accured each other of lying , after that the meeting end

I dont like how anime cuts or changes a lot of content from LN, some of which is very important when you look at the whole picture of the story. For example how anime massacred queen. It still hurts me.

While in LN , The Heros Meeting was able to continue after the shouting contest ,where Naofumi reveals about the Monster Traner Shield ,& the Slave User Shield ,but the 3 idiot don't believe him at all.
A big thing while I'm reading Volume 5 is that "Nice Guy", the Pro-Demi-Human Noble. He was not with them in the village either. He was in fact fatigued and sick from evading the church and Trash. So the Queen did what she could to safely bring him back to his post while he recovers. Keel is also a question mark as far as his status goes until the end of Cal Mira. And I believe he doesn't actually show up until the 6th volume.

The story @AniNews tells is more captivating than the Shield Hero anime I saw.
I liked the web novel better for this area. It was a bit more descript. And the exchange of partners did a bit more introducing then the current way.

Shield Hero S1,Ep.1-21 ,as a whole feels like 1 Big around Arc ,where in Ep.1 Naofumi is falsely accused crime , losing what small amout of respect / trust ,the normal people had for him ,then In Ep.21 , at the end of the Ep. , Naofumi ,& his party leaves the castle now that the True of the false crime is reveal , also Ep.22 ,is like an epilogue , where the 3 idiots heros shared 4 thing that they agree on ,but then when the meeting move to Power-Up method ,the idiot accured each other of lying , after that the meeting end
