To be honest with you Dr Apoki, you really don’t need to be sharing this with online people. Every family has their own issues. As long as your conscience is clear, you have nothing to worry about.

There is nothing wrong sharing family dysfunctional

    • @igzyii7470
      @igzyii7470 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +22

How else do we stick it out there that such dysfunctional pattern is not only toxic but also consequential? You see this tradition of secrecy and enabling/ rewarding toxicity just because 'na my brother or sister or relative' is one of the major root causes why we as a people are in this mess of a country.
He that covers a sin shall not prosper. Call out the wrong objectively and hope that unproductive person will take a leaf and change their ways for a productive future. Entitlement kills deep.

To be fair to Dr. Charles Apoki also, he didn't call names, itbis called, TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN. You watch movies and you see the introduction: these are true events and we adjust our seats because this is REALITY.

I'm the first Child of 5 and, I have been there and don't that.
I received all kinds if insults and disrespect from My Siblings that I was trying to help with my money and advice.
I finally received sense and distance myself from them except My Sister who quickly embraced my help and advises and she's currently on her path to greatness by God's grace.
I'm abroad, married and a Mother.
    My priorities now are :
    Myself
    My Husband
    Son
    Mother.
Everyone else can kick rocks for all I care.

The truth is it is easier to raise or help a total stranger than some relative because usually the outsiders value and respect your input to their lives. Family members often times are lazy and entitled. Same reason it was difficult for Jesus to do much in his own town than what He did outside. Do not allow any sibling or relative make you feel guilty for their own downfall. Our first given responsibility according to the bible is our Aged parents, wife and children.

Sometimes when Nigerians talk, you can immediately see why everything is wrong with the country. Did Dr Apoki say he wasn't praying for him? Not sparing the rod, does it imply a lack of love? Does love exclude rebuke? No wonder a criminal will steal public funds running into billions and you see people praying that he be forgiven without appropriate penance and considered for another public office because he sang alleluia at our church convention.
We live our lives not bothered that our actions have consequences. It's a terrible mindset. Little wonder we are a joke to everyone.

Nothing to learn from this sincerely . Full of shit. The guy you gave 150k and called you back 4 years later wanting to buy a piece of land did good in my view.proud of him. I bought cars for my cousins and helped even though they didn’t turn out exactly as I expected, I will still do it again. The only advice I will give to your viewers is. HELP FROM A DISTANT. They don’t have to live with you. They don’t have to call you. The attitude of the person you are giving a chance shouldn’t bother you much. Just help as much as you can and believe God ONLY to reward you.

Jesus healed 10 leapers only one came back to say thank you, it grieved Jesus. It is very difficult to help ungrateful people, you do it once you may not be able to do it again. If i helped someone the least i should get is 'Thank you' because it is my hardwork and sweat i am giving away free of charge. Even God demands thanksgiving, these are the basics we teach our children. If an adult lacks this virtue even God will find it difficult to help him
