Hi Michael, what a nice day out and some interesting finds. The silver coin is an added benefit. It would have been nice to not to have been slick but it’s silver nonetheless. Great scenery and your videos are always shot superbly. Thank you for taking us along on your adventure… John
Hi Michael, awesome video as always! I really love the cockle pendant and the mystery fubular brooch, as they have so much personal value to them. Thank you for sharing another fab video, I can't wait for the text. 👍😊
Well done young man. Thoroughly enjoyed that. I’ve been a little unwell this week but hope to be ok to get out at the weekend, fingers crossed. If Ii can do half as well as you I shall be happy 😁👍
The pointed copper alloy item, if it has a hollow end, could be a "spur" used in cock fighting. They were tied over the bird's natural spur to make them more fearsome..The cockle shell was an insignia for Walsingham Priory, so that could be a pilgrims pendant.. Nice day out for you !
I have been metal detecting in England for ever but have never found anything laying on the surface all most an inch below the surface. 😛. LOL. 😀. It just sounded funny when you said it. 😀. P.s. I found one of my best ever finds laying half in the soil and half out just sat there glistening in the sunshine. 😊.
Great day out. I can imagine this changes day-to-day but how many targets do you find on average you are able to put in your videos in comparison to what you dig (perhaps this question was better suited for the why you don’t do live digs video 😅)? For myself, I find the ratio of targets would be far far lower for over interesting targets. Given, that is par for the course with this awesome hobby.

An excellent hunt with interesting finds. If you contact the portable antiquities scheme (PAS) they will help with ID
I think that roman brooch depicts a swans head. The decorated thing with the holes could be a shield decoration.
Too many adverts
