It's nice to see Xenoblade get the respect it always deserved. Xenoblade 3 marketing has people buying DE, 2 and Torna to see what this franchise is about and they are loving it. I have also noticed all the Xenoblade related streams happening this year and they are doing numbers.
There's also a MASSIVE stream of small to medium creators from a couple hundred to a couple hundred thousand subscribers making content on Xenoblade 2, from reviews to retrospectives in this last week, it's amazing

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is the sole reason I don’t trade in games anymore. I traded it in two years ago. Had a urge to play it, and like usual Nintendo, it was discontinued and skyrocketed in price when Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive was announced. Saw Torna in stores but didn’t think nothing of it. Now I have both Torna and XC2 physical again along with XCDE and they are never leaving my sight again
As a xenoblade fan from the start, I have really enjoyed the direction the studio has been going. Trying out the mecha and anime style was refreshing and seemed like a test for community feedback on the style. They have addressed most of the issues I’ve heard and had myself and polished the game very well from the looks of it. The hype is just building and building for me.
This is wild. Who would have thought this game would critically score better than games like Horizon, And even FF7 remake. I hope it translates to more people jumping into the series for the first time. Let’s get this baby to 5mil sales! Lol
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was my very first Xenoblade game and my first Switch game at the same time. All I can say is that it has been an amazing experience! Played the remaster of the first one as well but never had the time to finish any of them. I have the 3rd one pre-ordered aaaand, who knows? Maybe It'll be the first Xeno game I manage to finish. 😁

When I played xenoblade 2 portable the resolution or frame drops didn't bother me. It just felt too grindy and less interesting than 1. Xenoblade 3 looks great though and taking out the blade system is a big plus for me. I want to try out the battle system.
Thats weird because i felt like xenoblade 2 made great efforts to be LESS grindy than 1, i never felt too underleveled at any point because of the Extra EXP at the inn, whether i remember getting to late game xenoblade 1 and having to entirely halt the story to go grind enemies and sidequests for the final section of the game, but to each their own.
Xenoblade 2 would be grindier if it werent for the inn which is essentially free xp. Killing enemies takes forever in 2 and you get such a small amount of xp per a kill. Where as 1 you kill a lot faster and get more xp but no inns.

I used Riki, Melia, and Sharla just because I like her I guess lol but xenoblade 1 definitely feels way more fun to me than 2 I guess the characters just seem more unique play to me where in 2 it just feels like everyone can do similar things.
If I’m being honest, Metacritic needs to toss out reviews from tech sites. Far too many quality games get shorted by eggheads who are all about pixels instead of content.
They will push Elden Ring like it's the saviour of open world games and they'll neglect XB3 for being anime and a non FF jRPG in general. It's a shame, but these big shows are corrupt bs anyway, so what.

He made the bet himself and like RGT with Metroid Dread(in which he now has to play that unfinished game Balan Wonderworld) we will see in the future if by the 29th of July of 2023 that Xenoblade 3 has or has not sold over 5 million copies worldwide.
If it sells 3 million copies it will have done the impossible. Nintendo wants variety in its library so it has games like Bayonetta and Xenoblade. It will be a major Nintendo franchise when it has the prestige of many decades of history or sales that are undeniably strong like Splatoon. It has neither at this point. Not trying to yuck anyones yum that’s just my opinion. I’m sure it’s a fantastic game and fans of the series should enjoy this moment. The metacritic score doesn’t have to mean anything other than it’s a great game.
I mean, the original Xenoblade Chronicles scored a 92 during the Wii's dying days. The ceiling and potential of the series was known after the release of that game and then X. I'm one that never thought it was impossible for a Xeno game to rate this high again. This series has just been plagued with circumstances beyond Monolith Soft's control that has limited them in various ways. XC3 will be their first original game that I feel will be launched in the most ideal situation they ever had. I think we'll be looking at some record breaking numbers for the series soon.
I’m really excited I preordered it off Amazon so it will take an extra few days to get to me. The good thing though the Xenoblade community is really good about not spoiling things and I hope that holds true for XC3.

I've been playing XBC3 for about a week. Let me tell you. This is the best game in the series, everything has been updated as you would expect from Nintendo. I can only wait to here what you think OJ. But yeah, this should sell 5 million easy if Nintendo does marketing correctly. Everything is spectacular, the art, the graphics, the sound quality, the story and the cast, even the lip sync and voice acting is in check. This is the game to get until Zelda is here.
Could you answer a question I have then? XBC1 and XBC2 stories had moments but I felt that they were ok but not great IMO. Compared to the pervious games, is the story way better?
@@gundambassexe31 Some places in certain countries must have sold it before the official street date and it also did leak onto the internet, so thats another way they could have got it through non official means. Aside from review copies some peoples copies have also been coming in the mail like even as far up to a week early as well, i saw a review in progress from a guy who got it last thursday in the mail when he was supposed to play Live A Live the next day instead and not get it till this week and it screwed up the time he was gonna devote to live a live.
I've been avoiding a lot when it comes to XC3 bc I don't wanna get spoiled and really get immersed in it but I just can't wait!! These two days feel like forever!
Just got my copy, a day earlier than the official launch date but we know many have received theirs way before so not a surprise. Just started playing it, loving it so far (less than 1 hour). It seems to run smooth, like the character models, music is very very good, graphic is slightly better than before but with the expected limitations (doesn’t bother me much personally). Happy that it’s finally out and hoping to get the additional special edition content when preorder opens up in September in Europe to complete my collection.

Hope it get smore popular with the release of this game. I was hooked once I played XC2. It hit all the right notes for me and I can't wait for this one to drop.
The only game that has a chance to beat it is probably ironically for how people feel about Pokémon Scarlet and Violet which by the leaks looks to be a massive step forward for the series
I have the Collector's Edition coming, but am not going to be around when the base game (which Nintendo is sending separately from all the CE goodies) arrives. I am half tempted to buy it digitally just so I can play right away, but I know it is probably better to just wait the 2 weeks and play when I get back.
Everyone talking smack about Xenoblade 3 all year and I can just see Monolithsoft being like "Hold our beers" and just dropped the highest rated Switch game all year. I'm so excited for Friday!
Xenoblade Chronicles X was 720p native and ran nearly locked at 30fps. XC3 is actually rendering less pixels, but is doing far more advanced rendering techniques. MonolithSoft got pretty crazy with the post processing particle effects starting with XC2, something XC X was using very sparsely by comparison.
More importantly I wonder why there are mixed reviews of xeno 3 and if their criticism have any validity Xeno 2 was great but it was very flawed at times
One Thing I think what Xenoblade Chronicles Series Needed was obviously be a Tentpole Big 1st party game for Nintendo and I think they did it with XC3. Graphics has been the best so far. The Tutorials have improved alot. and Most Importantly, the Game Runs Really well on Switch Now. All of these Improvements I hope to see in BOTW2. I hope that Monolith Soft can Continue Improving Switch games, Help Out development with Splatoon, with Zelda. and continue to make the most of this Switch Lifecycle which seems they have with XC3. I think this might have a good chance to he nominated for GOTY, and also Bayonetta 3?... will see Geoff 😂
I saw IGN's review recently and it mentioned how it suffered from the series' previous hiccups from it having a meh plot to also bad voice acting, and if they are trying to tell me it's a SERIES problem, then they clearly have not met Adam Howden. And if we're going on to XC2, the one I would say they are more-so referring to, you still have to give Malos' voice actor (David Menkin) some credit. That man popped off in some scenes.
It's not really that big deal when Xenoblade Chronicle's original release on Wii was reviewed as one of the greatest games ever made, but it is great that Xenoblade 3 has finally lived up to the original game's standard though
Definitely looking good for Xenoblade. I also find it quite refreshing they went more to Xenoblade X in terms of body proportions here. And while many will say the characters look better in this, I have to bite my lip. Internally, I'm saying, "No duh." But I can't say any more than the look of Xenoblade X characters is completely intentional. Leave it at that. And hope they might play it someday, at least to chapter 5, to understand.
This will be like the final fantasy 4 of the series.... I jumped the gun too soon thinking about FF7 they needed at least make it at least make 7 games to get to that pinnacle and the game has to be good

So far I have not had any issues regarding XC3, I had one hiccup where I thought the game was gunna crash a la XC2 but nope, It kept chugging along like it didnt happen
I don't know how anyone could truly give the Xenoblade franchise a real shot and still consider it B tier. Even Xenoblade 2 with all of it's struggles was a damn good game.

Got into this series last year. My first was the remake and the story was wat that hook me but the gameplay was less desiring then xc2 gameplay was great but the story was not as good as xc1 but the game definitely got me hook. Can't wait for xc3 but before that I haven't get my hands on torna as that dlc is just so expensive.
I don't consider channels that focus on technical aspects trustworthy. Most have no real understanding on designing games, tech, or what gamers truly want. The fact that the original game's graphics still warranted a movement to get it released shows that GAMERS dont care about "graphic fidelity".
It’s here and it’s done everything it needed to do. Nintendo and Monolithsoft have both paved the way and gone full force to ensure this game has all it needs to blow up. All I can hope is people see the quality and give it a shot.

I'm not even a fan of Xenoblade as the combat just isn't fun to me but the Digital Foundry video about Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is a must-watch for anyone who's curious about how a modern open world game can look and run well on the Nintendo Switch even in 2022 despite its aging hardware.
this game resolution doesnt look like 1080p at all. it might be a little higher than 720p but its definitely not 1080p. the game looks a bit blurry. dont yall go thinking the image quality of this game is nice, cause its not. i have only played it for a couple of hours, btw. nintendo seriously needs to make some new hardware. the switch is still in the ps3/xbox360 era.
Based on Digital Foundry's video the resolution is dynamic and uses an upscaling technique to make it "look" like 1080p in docked mode and make it "look" like 720p in handheld mode. It's not true 1080p and 720p respectively.

What do you mean trying out the Mecha style? Mechs are where this series started with Xenogears. The Xenosaga Trilogy was also Mechs.

@@MrDman60644 Xenoblade 1 is very easy even if you are lower level than enemies, the trick is to NOT use sharla as she is complete garbo.

Just finished Live A Live yesterday and gonna start Azure Striker gunvolt 3 tonight and maybe be done with it before Xenoblade 3, very excited

Just got my copy, a day earlier than the official launch date but we know many have received theirs way before so not a surprise. Just started playing it, loving it so far (less than 1 hour). It seems to run smooth, like the character models, music is very very good, graphic is slightly better than before but with the expected limitations (doesn’t bother me much personally). Happy that it’s finally out and hoping to get the additional special edition content when preorder opens up in September in Europe to complete my collection.
I hope Bayonetta gets marked like Xenoblade 3. They have game been development for almost 5 years

Hope it get smore popular with the release of this game. I was hooked once I played XC2. It hit all the right notes for me and I can't wait for this one to drop.
The only game that has a chance to beat it is probably ironically for how people feel about Pokémon Scarlet and Violet which by the leaks looks to be a massive step forward for the series
I have the Collector's Edition coming, but am not going to be around when the base game (which Nintendo is sending separately from all the CE goodies) arrives. I am half tempted to buy it digitally just so I can play right away, but I know it is probably better to just wait the 2 weeks and play when I get back.
Everyone talking smack about Xenoblade 3 all year and I can just see Monolithsoft being like "Hold our beers" and just dropped the highest rated Switch game all year. I'm so excited for Friday!

Xenoblade Chronicles X was 720p native and ran nearly locked at 30fps. XC3 is actually rendering less pixels, but is doing far more advanced rendering techniques. MonolithSoft got pretty crazy with the post processing particle effects starting with XC2, something XC X was using very sparsely by comparison.

One Thing I think what Xenoblade Chronicles Series Needed was obviously be a Tentpole Big 1st party game for Nintendo and I think they did it with XC3. Graphics has been the best so far. The Tutorials have improved alot. and Most Importantly, the Game Runs Really well on Switch Now. All of these Improvements I hope to see in BOTW2. I hope that Monolith Soft can Continue Improving Switch games, Help Out development with Splatoon, with Zelda. and continue to make the most of this Switch Lifecycle which seems they have with XC3. I think this might have a good chance to he nominated for GOTY, and also Bayonetta 3?... will see Geoff 😂

I saw IGN's review recently and it mentioned how it suffered from the series' previous hiccups from it having a meh plot to also bad voice acting, and if they are trying to tell me it's a SERIES problem, then they clearly have not met Adam Howden. And if we're going on to XC2, the one I would say they are more-so referring to, you still have to give Malos' voice actor (David Menkin) some credit. That man popped off in some scenes.
It's not really that big deal when Xenoblade Chronicle's original release on Wii was reviewed as one of the greatest games ever made, but it is great that Xenoblade 3 has finally lived up to the original game's standard though
Definitely looking good for Xenoblade. I also find it quite refreshing they went more to Xenoblade X in terms of body proportions here. And while many will say the characters look better in this, I have to bite my lip. Internally, I'm saying, "No duh." But I can't say any more than the look of Xenoblade X characters is completely intentional. Leave it at that. And hope they might play it someday, at least to chapter 5, to understand.
This will be like the final fantasy 4 of the series.... I jumped the gun too soon thinking about FF7 they needed at least make it at least make 7 games to get to that pinnacle and the game has to be good
XC (series) i still an awesome JRPG it takes a bit time to get into it, but i would tell others to buy it.
13hr still in chapters 3. Dang the pretty much bigger than x2. The graphics without mode is quite good in docked setting

So far I have not had any issues regarding XC3, I had one hiccup where I thought the game was gunna crash a la XC2 but nope, It kept chugging along like it didnt happen

I don't know how anyone could truly give the Xenoblade franchise a real shot and still consider it B tier. Even Xenoblade 2 with all of it's struggles was a damn good game.

Got into this series last year. My first was the remake and the story was wat that hook me but the gameplay was less desiring then xc2 gameplay was great but the story was not as good as xc1 but the game definitely got me hook. Can't wait for xc3 but before that I haven't get my hands on torna as that dlc is just so expensive.

I don't consider channels that focus on technical aspects trustworthy. Most have no real understanding on designing games, tech, or what gamers truly want.
The fact that the original game's graphics still warranted a movement to get it released shows that GAMERS dont care about "graphic fidelity".

It’s here and it’s done everything it needed to do. Nintendo and Monolithsoft have both paved the way and gone full force to ensure this game has all it needs to blow up. All I can hope is people see the quality and give it a shot.

this game resolution doesnt look like 1080p at all. it might be a little higher than 720p but its definitely not 1080p. the game looks a bit blurry. dont yall go thinking the image quality of this game is nice, cause its not. i have only played it for a couple of hours, btw.
nintendo seriously needs to make some new hardware. the switch is still in the ps3/xbox360 era.
Based on Digital Foundry's video the resolution is dynamic and uses an upscaling technique to make it "look" like 1080p in docked mode and make it "look" like 720p in handheld mode. It's not true 1080p and 720p respectively.
