Good story telling. Nice pace and give time for viewers to soak it up. Best part is for storing a bike that both ends are off the suspension and it rock solid. The design is elegantly simple.
I can't see why professional shops are so cheap, they lift the bike by the oil pan or by the headers and they say its totally safe but thats a lie. All shops should use this kind of stand and if customers see that the shop doesn't then they shouldn't take their bike to that shop.... stress cracks from improper lifting especially when they bang out bearing race with a sledge hammer.😮
I'm with you, I would be very upset if I had my bike in a shop! And if they didn't lift my bike with regard for any subsequent damage I would be furious.
I have the basic ABBA stand for my Frirelblade and it's great. Have to say the bits that get the front wheel up look more complicated than they need to be!
I agree, it's not exactly obvious how the front lift works, took a little bit of figuring out, but once you sus it out, it's actually very quick and easy to do. I'm definitely a fan of the ABBA stand so far! :)
Thanks, they're lovely aren't they. If you haven't already, wait until you see the sticker kit I fit in one of the latest videos. They are fabulous, in my humble opinion :)
Thankyou for a really great series of videos on the 900 fireblade. This in particular is brilliant for me being fairly new to motorcycle mechanics. Having just purchased a Nitron shock for my rrx this will be perfect for getting the weight off the swingarm. I will be using all your videos to help me service my cbr, very much appreciated 👍
Thanks for your great feedback. Slow and steady with plenty of photos to refer to, you can do anything! I've been out riding it a bit now, I have a few other things I want to do to it, but I have been busy with other things, and I don''t want it to be off the road part way through a project. But as they say "coming soon"!!
I got one a couple of months back, really good stand that’s well out of the way when you’re working on the back wheel, I did get the front attachment as well but haven’t used that yet, well worth the money 👍
Definitely, I'm really loving mine so far too, and I'm sure you'll find the front lift very handy when the time comes to use it. The fact it takes up so little space when not in use is a real big plus when you're in a small workshop.
Hi Phil, interestingly enough I took that fairing off the other day, video to come very soon! If I recall correctly, it's 2 allen bolts from each side right low down, and 2 more bolts hidden behind the mid fairing, which you'll need to take off first. It's easier to remove than you'd expect. Hope that helps :)
I am really sorry I got your name wrong. Put it down to old age! I can't wait to get back out on the blade, I expected snow now so SORNed the bike. I bet when I tax it the snow will come. Jut wait.
Really enjoyed your blade videos, they brought back memories of my 95 rrs. I loved that bike, I hope to be back on a blade myself reasonably soon,I have some inheritance coming and I fancy the 2023 model. I would like to get together for ride outs if you fancy it ?. I'll keep you informed . I'm from Driffield but I'm still living in Scarborough .x
I am the fella who gave you the abba stand adapters and the Haynes manual.lol.glad you put them to good use.
Thanks very much. They have been very handy.
Thank you for spreading a bit of kindness Steve. Not often you see people who give for nothing like that.

Thanks for the great feedback. For bikes without a centre stand this is a must. I was surprised how well the front lift worked.

Love your Fireblade’s gold wheels.

Great video showing how the stand works. Thanks 👍
Cheers Alan! It's a great stand so far, I'd definitely recommend it.
Can you please do a video about taking the faring off with detail on how to get the screws under the belly pan out? Cheers.

Great video, how much would you say the whole thing weighs?
Cheers! It's quite a sturdy piece of kit so it's not exactly lightweight, but nothing crazy, maybe 10-15kg
nice comparison🔥
Thumbs up
KUKI
Cheers! :)
Very nice stand.
Thanks mate, it certainly makes life a bit easier with this Blade. :)
My name is WILL not Steve, lol.

If you have a problem they have terrible customer service. Just be warned.
I hadn't heard about that, I do hope I never need to use it! :)
@@SPANNERRASH I have and it's not good.
