@@TheRealCountryBoyModz 😂😂😂 definitely that. I'm mad I wasn't recording when mine got to messing up Sunday lol went out there yesterday and it was just fine 🤦🏾♂️
Mine did the same thing and powerliftgate said was unable to open/lift manually. After I jump started it everything worked and no more engine light. I’m hoping it’s just a new battery I need to
I have a 2018. I recently had this same problem.. My starter needed to be replaced. My warranty had expired. So I took it to. my local mechanic. 800 dollars later. It cranks up just fine.I never use the stop and start feature. I always turn it off.
@@theflash7100 are you AWD or rwd drive? If I had rwd I would’ve spent about the same amount and I’m glad I don’t have the start and stop function though. Either way I’m glad we both were able to get our durangos back on the road
🥺 currently my problem 2017 Durango my poor baby just clicks. I can’t eat or sleep. I’m hoping they don’t charge a lot because it’s so hard to get to smh. Thanks for this video btw
@natashameriwether5815 oh nooo sorry to hear that as well and if you have a rwd with the v6 or hemi version it will come out cheaper than what I paid but be expecting anywhere between 600-800 for parts and labor if it’s the starter.
@@mahoganysoulband7964 I would definitely get it done by the dealership so it could be under their mopar warranty for 2 years and if it goes out they will replace it or cut down the cost by half. I know it’s a lot of money but I went that route or just buy the parts from them if you can replace it yourself. I forgot to mention check your wires and make sure they are not burning on the exhaust
I saw during that time that it was a common issue with the starter…luckily I don’t have the auto start and stop whew but it’s been fixed and no issues since
Sounds like you’re not getting any power to your fuse box or may be the ignition control module.. it’s either gonna be that 150amp fuse that’s in the top left passenger side blown or something in that fuse box is not working… it’s hard to tell but if you put a multimeter on the post where you jump your car off and you not getting voltage that could be a starting point and hopefully make sure all wires are connected properly on the starter
So far only issue I had was this and water getting into the racetrack tailight… I expect some things to happen but hopefully I can keep it on the road rolling
Thanks for the video. I'm having the same issue on the 5.7 and starter was my initial thought.
You’re welcome and it’s was pricey fix for me but in the end it’s covered under mopar warranty if it ever goes out
Its covered under warranty? I have a 2021 and im having the same issue im thinking its the starter also.@@TheRealCountryBoyModz
Literally happened to me this morning. 😢😢 but I’m glad I don’t have awd.
@@TheeBlushnboots ohh no but the price will definitely be cheaper unless it’s done at home…hope you get it back on the road soon

Man tell me about it got another check engine light this morning 😂 calling it job security for TH-cam

I changed the starter, alternator, batteries, positive post fuse block, solenoid, fuses and still no start
