after 2 years of training i finally pulled off my first organic omoplata yesterday. Lost the grip and ended up on top in side control but it was a small victory for me. Threatening submissions from the bottom to keep my opponents from imposing their will is the next really big thing I need to drill. Your videos have been a great supplement to my training of the years. Thank you so much.
@@jedidoesjiujitsu3177 I love all you stuff! passing and escaping are my two main problems. I roll with a guy who is like 6ft 4 and he keeps me tied up in half guard and I find it hard to get out
Jimmy Osler half guard can be tricky especially when you’re partner is that big. You’re main focus should be on flattening his shoulders on the mat and getting your trapped knee off the mat so you can pull it out.
I'm new to this. But when you open your guard to make this submissions, like, by putting your feet on his hips etc, isn't he going to just stand up? Sorry for my ignorance
I think triangle technique is wrong, if u hold his wrist to his chest, his elbow is outside and you cant pull ur leg over his elbow like that, in this video guy in the white closes his elbow on purpose but in real life nobody gonna do that, instead they will push elbow to you leg and you want be able to move ur leg.

Yes. That’s why you gotta break down their posture first by grabbing the head

Are these good for beginner white belts
not really
Dude, your explanation is really good and application is also really good but please buy new jeans.
Why do you care what clothes another wears? Find some security within yourself and you'll find yourself judging less!🙌
