take some creamy peanut butter and microwave it until its loose, sprinkle in some pumpkin pie spice (or apple pie spice or cinnamon, or nutmeg: literally any spice) and eat with pretzel sticks- it's salty and sweet and perfect for fall

oh, if you know of some subtly flavored fizzy water with fruity flavors, just chop up some grapes into tiny bits and coat them with that. something about the fizziness and the way the grape and drink flavor mixes is just quietly satisfying

Apple slices sprinkled with a little cardamom and sugar. also cardamon and sugar on buttered toast. like cinnamon toast but with cardamom. yummy. I also make strawberry toast. I butter and pan fry both sides of some white bread and then I slice some strawberries, add a squeeze of lime and a bit of powder sugar then toss and top the pan toast. very good. you can also take sliced strawberries and lime juice and some raw honey and toss it together then slice some angel food cake and toast it in the over or toaster oven untill golden. Dollop some of the hooked up strawberry slices and munch. you have so many flavors and freshness and crunch and fluffiness all at once. Light sweet snack.

My kids love snacking on a few things-
    * Celery and peanut butter
    * Almond milk, ice cream and fruit - great smoothies
    * Pasta, tuna, sweetcorn, red onion and mayo with some salad cream - great snack or meal you can eat cold and prepare in advance
    * Home made cheese straws with hummus or other dip
    * Banana, peanut butter and chocolate chips with pretzels
Just a few examples of snacks my kids eat over here in England

    1. Slice of deli meat ham
    2. Spread cream cheese across it
3.Put a dill pickle in the middle, wrap it up and WHAM-O.
My mom made this a lot for my family growing up and I loved it because it was savory and definitely satisfied the munchies. An easier hack to spreading the cream cheese is softening it in the microwave, throwing it in a ziploc baggy, cutting off a corner, and squeezing it across the ham like frosting. A lot of times I'll sprinkle a little garlic powder on the cream cheese too to give it some extra flavor ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  • @jameshill2450

I've been making some for a while that are more of a meal, but still totally lazy and simple.
First up, take a tube of Crescent rolls. Wrap up a couple brats, metts whatever you like in 2 rolls each. Then with the remaining 4 rolls I experiment filling them with all kinds of things. My favorite so far is white chocolate chips and dried cranberries. I've done cream cheese + crab meat + shredded cheddar, cheese and salsa, chocolate chips and bananas, pre-made pie filling, and probably others that I've forgotten. If it's wet stuff like the salsa or bananas, make sure to wrap it completely shut so it doesn't leak all over your baking sheet.
For another, start with just a regular box of macaroni and cheese. Cook that up just like normal, then dump in a bunch of spices. I've done several different mixes, the one I like best is curry powder, cumin, garlic powder, and oregano. Put some on a tortilla and top with crushed doritos for a meatless "taco."

I'm a relative popcorn purist, and don't really care for Kettle Korn. I make my own in a pot on the stove with oil and white, not yellow popcorn. For a twist, I sometimes use olive oil and get a little exotic taste. I've also tossed in a tablespoon of butter before popping - it doesn't burn, and the result is really good for us butter lovers. Coconut oil with white popcorn recreates the stuff we used to buy and adore in a little shop in my home town. My son adds a little of that yellow glop that you can buy on Amazon that is what they use in theaters to give it that yellow color and butteryish taste. Pocorn lovers, unite!

tempura left-over sushi! (you'll gain weight the next day, but it's worth it) 3-4 ingredients: leftover sushi, tempura mix, plain soda, ketchup/mayo or sweet chilli sauce. mix tempura and soda till it's a little lumpy, dip the sushi then fry it. this is nice cuz the rice in leftover sushi hardens so when you eat it after it's been in the fridge it's not as good, so recooking it makes it taste fresh-ish again.

I couldn't live without my lettuce+meat+sauce! I build it depending on what I fancy at the moment (lettuce+roast beef+mustard, lettuce+cooked chicken+caesar dressing, lettuce+tuna+mayo...) but it's just basically a lettuce leaf with some good stuff on it ;D
At the moment I'm very keen on lettuce+pepperoni+tomato sauce, which I sometimes complete with some extra cheese!

once the mixtue becomes like cake batter
add u desired seconing to it, it can be salt and pepper, salt chilie flacks , u can add green chilies and green onions for colour and
than on one pan put some oil little oil and pour that mixture on to the pan and cook like an omelet 😉

When I was a kid, my grandma taught us to take lunchmeat and spread cream cheese on it, then a cornichon or small, whole sweet pickle (sort of like rouladen) then roll it up. You can secure it with a toothpick if you want. We sometimes heated them for a 5 -10 seconds in the microwave if the lunchmeat was fatty. It tasted better that way. You can also slice it up into smaller bites for parties.

Try this out. Great for warm/hot days when you want something sweet and salty but refreshing. My favorite snack food that keeps me from over-indulging on ice cream.
1 whole cantaloupe or honeydew melon
1 pkg of capricola, proscuitto or dry italian salami. (if fact any cured ready to eat italian meat will work)
Cube up the melon. Wrap or skewer with a toothpick your italian meat of choice. Put on plate/platter and serve. Pairs well with grilled or toasted caprese salad sandwiches for a light refreshing meal.

Mini twist pretzels layered with soynut butter and a chocolate chip in each hole. Top with another pretzel for a sandwich. Slather soynut butter and raspberry jam on toast. Sprinkle seasoning salt on fresh popcorn (not microwaved popcorn but the kind you pop on the stove). Butter counts as the third ingredient if you want.

I also like to butter a slice of bread on one side and add peanut butter to the other side. then take another piece of bread and butter one side and put jelly, James or preserves of your choice on the other side. take some thin slices of pear, or apple and place on pb side. place that piece butter side down in a skillet on medium add the jellied bread slice on top jelly side down. grill on both sides until golden.
another good quick sammie is to butter two slices of bread with butter sides out - add shredded cheddar in between and grill until golden. then spread apple jelly on one side and eat. Classic apple and cheddar goodness.

I got even more through scrolling through the comments, so thank you everyone who told your ideas! Here's a couple of my favorite snacks:

    2. Graham crackers with peanut butter, dunked in milk. So good!

I’ve recently stumbled onto your videos due to research on bone broth and fermenting foods. I have been hooked since! I’m sure your intention of making this wasn’t for a demographic of moms trying to feed their kids yummy and nutritious foods, but I love all these ideas because I would be completely happy to feed these to my toddler and have fed him most of these already but not in this easy snack manner that looks fun and tasty. These snacks are all delicious alternatives to the large snack industry out there for young kids (ie. Puffs, cheerios, veggie straws). I can show my child that they can have great taste without missing out with great tasting foods they can even help create. These are a wonderful hack to a mom.

I'm french and in france we have these sort of brioche already filled with chocolate cream ( look out for " Pitch " ), it is made for child's snack but my mom still buys some.
I use to flat them with my hands, not to much cause the chocolate might go out, and throw them in a pan.
When it is real crispy and golden brown, take them off and from here you can spread something on them, cut them and eat it as it is or fold it and wrap it onto something. It's just goodness, crispy and sweet chocolate *.*

Yup, but if you did'nt press it to hard, there's no chocolate coming out of the brioche and because cooking it does'nt require any oil or butter, there's absolutly no mark on the pan so a simple shot of paper towel and we're good to go ;p

That is natural peanut butter made from just ground peanuts and a little salt, maybe a bit of sugar. That is how real peanut butter looks. lol. We are just used to the over-processed stuff. Real peanut butter has to be stirred because the oil separates out and it is not as smooth because it has less peanut oil added.

    1) I love putting nutritional yeast on Popcorn. Gives it Kind of a cheesy flavor.2) What's also great is using the fatty part of the coconut milk (If you leave the coconut milk tin in the fridge for a while, you can just scrape it of the top. I hope it makes sense and doesn't sound gross :D ) and whipping it like whipped cream. It becomes quite fluffy and you can just add a bit of sugar and some lime zest. If you cut up some peaches on top of that, you get this Pina colada styled desert/Snack Thing. Not 3 ingriedients but it is so easy and quick to make.

For a salty snack, Here's one I like doing: Tortillas
Heat Pan and lay a tortilla on it. Sprinkle cheese and spray ketchup on the tortilla. Then lay another tortilla on top. Wait a few minutes and flip tortilla. Heat until cheese is melted.
    Slice and eat :P
Optional: You can make more layers by adding more cheese, ketchup and tortilla after you first flip and repeat until you reach the desired layers :)
Also optional: Ham and Tomato are also good with this :) Or replace ketchup with Tuna and mayo with corn :P
