    I'm pretty open minded but usually stuff like this makes me call BS but my grandfather who was stationed in Alaska after Korea told me stories about a top secret pyramid built inside a mountain. From what he was told is it was built between 10,000-13,000 year's ago and that it was built underneath the mountain to protect it from astronomical events.

    The word Pyramid was given to the structures, that were already built on the Giza Plateau. It's meaning is obvious. Pyra - of the Greek - Great Fire, Brilliant Light. Mid - of the Greek - Point of Measurement, Middle. Pyramid means Great Fire in the Middle, or Great Power at it's Core. If anyone was interested...

    I grew up and graduated HS on Kodiak Island, Alaska in the 70's. I can tell you from personal experience that even back then there were whispered " rumors" about odd crap happening everywhere in the state, but specifically in central Alaska. I and 3 of my friends also witnessed ufos at least 4 times on Kodiak. Common knowledge that if you leave Kodiak town and head out into the countryside where there is zero light pollution, and park and sit quietly, you WILL see ...stuff. Pretty wild even back then lol

It's hundreds of miles out of the way. There are very secretive military bases up here and in the middle of nowhere that you can't approach without men with guns shooing you away urgently (Clear comes to mind). And besides I keep thinking that if something were to happen to us(ppl) the ones in the future would look to movies to see where we were and what was happening. Think I know what that airstrip was.
    Strategic Air Command (SAC) used to have 201 National Alternate Landing Sites (NALS) in CONUS. These were dry lake beds that would be used to disperse bombers or be used as Reflex Recovery Sites after a nuclear strike wiped out their home airbases. This as know as Project Dry Stone.
    However, SAC later earmarked Elmendorf AFB in Alaska as Reflex Base (the others were Goose Bay AB in Labrador, RAF Brize Norton and RAF Upper Heyford in the UK, d Moron AB and Torrejon AB in Spain). However, all these Reflex Bases would have gotten the nuclear finger meaning nearby Reflex Recovery Bases were needed.
    I believe the airfield and abandoned road were a Reflex Recovery Base for SAC Bombers flying out of Elmendorf. There were other Reflex Recovery Bases in Yukon Territory in Canada.

Especially fishermen and pilots. The Alaska Triangle is definitely a thing and people do disappear there every year. I’m not sure about the Black Pyramid though. There’s just not a ton of evidence. The Denali National Park is flooded with tourists and skeptics alike throughout the summer and I feel like if something was going on out there, we would have countless reports of military activity ad we just don’t. There very well be something underground, I’ve heard direct witness testimony that there is indeed a massive underground complex but that it is accessed through hundreds of miles of underground tunnels.

    Fun entertainment. I’m of two minds on this one. I live in Alaska. I lived in Unalakleet 1964-1965 age 14-15. The only road going anywhere was maybe 20 miles long. A 6 hour bus ride is fantasy. There was an early warning base on the hill above town and I used to set pins in the two lane bowling ally, and race my 1/24th scale slot car on the track they built in the reck hall. My father worked for the FAA and I attended the BIA school.
    I finished high school 1969 in McGrath Alaska about half way between Anchorage and Unalakleet. One night walking home with a girl friend an another couple we saw a UFO. I went to the FAA tower and ask about air traffic and he even contacted the Air Force base about 25 air miles from us and showed nothing on radar.
    The object moved very erratic with stops, quick and slow movements. It stated to ascend the disappeared in a split second.

      I dont think its a real story but lets say it is real as a thought experiment. Do you think it wouldnt make sense that they might drive around aimlessly, maybe even in circles, to throw off peoples perceptions on how far is it? If they were put on a bus with blacked out windows it would also make sense they would want to distort peoples perceptions of how long the trip itself was. That would just be sensible operation security. If the area isnt all that big and since its Alaska there arnt all that many roads it would be pretty easy to use a map, the average speed of a bus on that terrain, how long you suspect you were gone and you could probably fine out the location pretty easily thus blowing all the security of the site out of the water.

    This feels like the only conspiracy theory channel I watch which always addresses both the main points of a theory and its main critiques. Confirmation bias is almost always involved with these theories to some capacity. Keep up the good work!

    I have problems believing Lee's story. This base is so super top secret that when you land you're surrounded by heavily armed guards and you can't talk about it until you get to a bar, but they're ok with the pilot letting his buddy tag along for the trip. Right.

    • @matthewehritz3544
      @matthewehritz3544 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +13

      Yeah and how about the random guy who hired a plane to fly around looking for the place? How would someone get away with that?

    • @mattjamison484
      @mattjamison484 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      An AC-130 doing tight circles over the base? BS. No way that is true. They aren't locking a plane in 1 location for just in case somebody shows up to the secret base. But for sure not an AC-130, that had only be in service about ten years in '78.

    I think the reason so many people go missing in the Alaska triangle is because it's such a large area and it's pretty easy to get lost or eaten by a bear or stomped to death by a moose. I live here and I always bring a gun and a satellite communicator when I'm going out in the middle of nowhere.

    • @JM-yx1lm
      @JM-yx1lm 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +23

      Welp there you go everyone! Just go back to your normal activities and forget about the Alaska triangle. We have first had info that it's a large area with wild animals and there's nothing to see here.
