That opening drone view of that corner of the lake was all I needed to find myself a new perch spot. As a local I appreciate that you guys don't always say what lake you're fishing but on some of those huge ones I feel as though there isn't much risk in just giving the name(not where on the lake but just the name). Especially when its one of the bigger inland ones in the area and has thousands of acres of water to fish.
If we are out all day and temps are below 0, we put the battery in an ice house with some heat. Otherwise we just wrap it in some extra jackets or the ice house cover and it stays warm enough. Havent been stranded from it on the ice yet! LOL.
Ok, so I have to ask. How stable is that electric bike on the ice? I know you mentioned that the tires were studded, but a bike pulling your gear out on the ice. It's starting to poke my interest. Grant great tip about NOT making a lot of noise while approaching a tip up.
Its incredible stable - We just filmed another episode with it last week. Pretty cool tool to have on thin ice. Another huge advantage is you just throw it in the bed of your truck. No need for a trailer. Towing a trailer sucks, and especially those lakes with tiny parking lots, or side of the road parking, not having a trailer plays a huge advantage.
Buckshot rattle spoon is a gimmick to catch fisherman lol, fish can only hear low frequency sound and the tiny BBs put off a high frequency sound, and as for the fish felling the tiny vibrations the spoon might make they would have to be up close and by then they can already see the spoon. Iam sure a few peeps will deny facts.
Some people like to see what we use/how we use it, others just want to see fish being caught. We try to find a happy medium. Plenty of other episodes we have filmed that are more heavy on the fish being caught. Thanks for tuning in!

Very cool method for accessing spots early ice! Interesting for sure.
Sure makes it easy!
What kind of tip were you using
Nice group of Red Pines for your opening. State tree of Minnesota!
Gorgeous trees!
Have issues with the cold killing the batteries on the bikes?

What lake
We prefer not to say on lakes that are more vulnerable and don't have much stocking going on. Thanks for tuning in!
Idk if thats so much better than a light wheeler or sled them narrow tires you go through gonna be scrapn your face off the ice
Yeah Because walking on bare ice is so difficult
Use ice crampons. No problem.
Over 1/4 of the through video and you're still selling gear. What happened to this channel?
Is this a fishing show, or an advertisement?
More fishing, less product endorsement, please... LOL

I personally find it helpful with him telling us what he’s using, sizes, colors etc
