@@salesteamhdi2334 Thanks for the response. I should clarify: painted surfaces and bare metal surfaces appear different to a thermal camera. For example, a painted surfaces at 100 degrees, will appear hotter than a bare metal surfaces at 100 degrees. The thermal camera has a setting to correct for this.
@@hughesey92 Thank you for pointing out , indeed the actual temperature will be different, also you can see the heat reflection from a human body as well but it could be hard to explain to the general public the technical details. That is why in this experiment we are interested in the rate of change that is easier for the public to understand and hope to explain that the intercooler should be designed for its purpose not only for larger sizes that create heavier weight etc
Out of curiosity, what was the emmisivity of the camera set to for each test?
They are all from the same heat source / hot air blower thanks
