Of all the great covers of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," this is the King of Covers. Maximillian are creative, stylin', and great. Loved this song!!!!
I've been listening to blues and rock riffs for 35 years and I reckon that solo is the best that's ever been played this planet. It just goes up and up and up
Shower thought while listening to The Main Squeeze while getting ready this morning: they would do an amazing cover of Chicago’s “25 or 6 to 4!” Anyone know if they’ve already covered this song? I must hear it!
I saw you guys as an impromptu fill in opener for JJ Grey at the Bluebird in Bloomington in 2012 or so. My friends and I have tried to catch you whenever you are in Indy or close by ever since!! Even have a pic with Corey's mom from the Vogue!! I can't be more excited to see you guys continue to make FAN-FUCKING-TASTIC music and continue to grow!! You guys played a face melting "I'll take another" at the Bluebird the first night we saw you!!! Amazing!!
The weird thing whenever I have headache or something bother me, I'll comeback to this song and played it over and over again. It calm down and soothe a bit
Everything about this band is perfection. Each musician is 100% on top of their game which makes the music that much better than everything else out there!
Truth be told, in spite of Corey's amazing pipes and the rest of the ensemble elevating any track to the next level, we came here to listen to Max make his guitar weep. And boy, did he make it weep. :O
Wow guys, what a great band you have. Just an outstanding and juicy soulfull performance. As a fellow guitar player for 37 years, it is so refreshing to hear a guitar player, not into showing off with a million notes a minute, but fully into enhancing the experience of the song. Beautifull rendition. But again kudo's to the whole band, you guys have something special there.
Get it, fellas! Loosen it up some more. Let it roll...there it goes!!! That's what Iam talking about...love it...Thank you, boys!!!!Take it higher!!! Freaking yes!!!🎉

This is a beautiful rendition of an amazing song, and it brought me to tears. Thank you for making this now-fatherless son weep once again with bittersweet memories.
For 4 minutes I just sat back and jammed along to this track, nodding my head and concerning myself with wondering about the structural integrity of those 4x4'' window frames and the weight bearing integrity of the Bearers above their heads. By 4:30 I'd forgotten their was a band playing along side the guitarist. at 5:42 my blood ran cold as that high scream cut right through me. Wow, what an awesome rendition of a classic song!! Thank you for making this !
Man, I usually avoid saying that something or someone is the best and don't really like when others do. I will still avoid it in this case BUT, by god this is hands down my favorite cover of this classic. This band ... what a gem, I just discovered you guys and I have to say I'm blown away. The arrangement here, from the piano intro and the keyboard phrasing, to the way they slow down the pace in the middle, those vocals man, the bass player and the drummer going crazy and the solo, my god that solo. So many emotions it's hard not to get goosebumps. Anyone with just a little knowledge of music will know that no one in that room is an average musician. Just amazing guys. It's so fresh to see that there's still great music coming out despite all the poppy crap nowadays. Can't wait to have the opportunity to one day see you in concert.
These guys are awesome absolutely no doubt, but do a search on Prince playing While My Guitar Gently Weeps, report back after Prince gets finished with his guitar solo! I'd rate Prince first and these guys a very close second! :)
@@WILDBILLSOUTDOORS I'd seen Prince's solo way before. In fact, since I'm going through a McCartney phase now I was listening and watching a lot of live covers for this song when I ran into this one. I guess it's a matter of taste. To be honest, when I saw Prince's solo a few years back I was impressed because I didn't know Prince could play like that. Many others feel the same way. I'll tell you something else, I have not seen one single live version by Clapton himself that impressed me, I always liked the studio version more. This solo however, really impressed me, especially coming from a band without the fame and recognition of Prince and or many other famous guitarists that covered it before. For me, this one is my my favorite cover, but that's just me. People feel music differently and we can all have an opinion, which is precisely why I started my comment by saying that I don't like referring to anything or anyone as the best. So to sum it up, yeah I did love Prince's version, I just love this one way more.
@@philx91 I'd have to agree with you, it's really a bit unfair at times to compare talented musicians. This guy here playing this solo, he's topnotch no doubt, and you can tell he loves what he's doing.

This is now the fifth time you covered a song so well I can no longer listen to the originals without thinking 'nope something is missing'. I don't know how y'all do it. May you continue. Edit: Max was born to play this solo. He made that guitar cry beautiful tears in War Pigs for god's sake. Also the vocalist, my goodness.
Dude...... Dude. Everything about this is perfect. This is better than any R&R HOF tribute. I imagine George's guitar would weeping tears of happiness after hearing this. Bravo gentleman
That might just be one of the greatest solos I’ve ever heard. Melodic, tasteful, sublime. Absolutely dripping with improvisational and technical virtuosity. Rob also looks dope as hell in that outfit.
As someone who only likes classic rock, its getting harder and harder to find new and exciting bands that respectfully add to the older music I prefer. After watching this, Have A Cigar, Since I’ve Been Loving You, and Redbone, I believe my quest is over. I think I just found my new favorite modern band. That guitarist is awesome, the rhythm section is outstanding, and the vocalist really tops it off. AWESOME job. I need to find a group of musicians who want to do covers like the ones you guys do.
Vocals = fire, drums = fire, bass = fire, keys = fire, and the guitar solo melted my damn face off! Just bought tickets to see you guys in The Big Smoke (London). Super psyched to hear you play Live, hope you cover this song again!
What incredible synchronicity this band has! The guitarist put all his feeling into it and the drummer was extremely sensitive to everything, the double bass was wonderful! And that keyboard? No words! Everything was perfect, congratulations a thousand times over! 👏👏
If you’re looking for another amazing player, Checkout drew Smithers, played in a band called bishop Gunn. His work on their record “Natchez” is incredible
When you listen to that piano intro, you sense that something different is coming. The voice with the way of using bass and treble sounds almost like a duet, with power but at the same time with so much feeling, it puts you in another atmosphere. The keyboard player and the bass player create an incredible cloud and so harmonious that you feel like you can go all over the sky. What the guitarist and drummer do is epic!! At times close to heavy, at others Hendrix style but with a personal and unique touch. Obviously I fall short with words since feelings cannot be explained!! With all due respect to the "masters" creators and interpreters of this all-time classic, these 5 gentlemen surpass the original!
@officialpentatonix It is an honor and a very joy this news! Whatever happens, my heart will continue with you as long as you have the "hunger" for music that all of you have in your souls!! A big, big hug from Argentina!!
Goddamn. Y'all! The guitar is not the only thing gently weeping. That was a moment of sheer beauty and there's simply not enough flowery adverbs and adjectives to describe it. Ethereal would be one word. So well done

If only I could love to a woman like that dude plays guitar! There is hope for music in America!!! You guys are legit.
This is what you get after you spent years perfecting a skill that you had a natural inclination for. And then you let yourself be possessed.
The best cover i've ever heared in my opinion. That damn freaking guitar is crying like crazy!!
Corey's voice is as smooth as a silk kimono.
Guitar parts the were at the same time both innovative and true to the original intent. Quickly becoming one of my favorite guitar players.
If you're watching this video for the 1st time, please share it with someone you know. Everything these guys do looks great and sounds even better. More people need to know about The Main Squeeze!
Insane amount of talent here oh my lord that voice! The strings, the drums the keys all of it! PHENOMENAL
What a great band. The guitarist is absolutely, grade A, 100 percent, WORLD CLASS! 👏 Bravo.
Dude is consistently putting out some of the best solos I've EVER heard. Mind blowing talent!!
You did the Beatles, Eric Clapton, and Prince proud with that solo!!! Great job from the entire band as well!
He made them jealous!
Of all the great covers of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," this is the King of Covers. Maximillian are creative, stylin', and great. Loved this song!!!!
I've been listening to blues and rock riffs for 35 years and I reckon that solo is the best that's ever been played this planet. It just goes up and up and up
Check out their cover of Have a Cigar, it's arguably an even better solo!
That "I look at you all" haul right before the solo, tho. That's some Robert Plant shit right there
Yeah...I HEARD THAT. That run was glorious.
When ROBERT PLANT meet GEORGES HARRISON at 3:30
This solo really gets me going btw
Clapton is the one who originally did the solo but I get what you mean
@@indianasquatchunters yep, I know that but I was speaking about the performance and style of the singer/guitarist.
Shower thought while listening to The Main Squeeze while getting ready this morning: they would do an amazing cover of Chicago’s “25 or 6 to 4!” Anyone know if they’ve already covered this song? I must hear it!
Oh HELL YES!!!
THEY MUST DO IT, will be wonderfull!!
Yes please. I guarantee that would be their best cover so far.
YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!! Please please pleeeeeeeease!!!
does seem like their type of jam
Guy can obviously sing everything he wants. Amazing talent. Great guitar solo as well! Thanx
But not gently in any way ;)
Wow guys, what a great band you have.
The best cover of this song I have ever heard, hands down.
Try this one th-cam.com/video/ZUp14y3FVJk/w-d-xo.html
@@billymanalang965 I have heard the reo brothers one too. It’s very close to the original and I guess that is their approach for all of the songs they cover. The Main Squeeze added their own spin to it which is why i prefer it.
Nah. Prince for the win. th-cam.com/video/6SFNW5F8K9Y/w-d-xo.html
@@prasad530 reo brothers are better they sound like the original
@@miguelmanzano3960 Why would I want to listen to a cover that sounds exactly like the original.
The freaking best band to come around in a long time, covers or not you guys kill it with everything you do. No 1 hit wonders here
Discovered you guys about 20 minutes ago. Already my favorite band of all time
I felt the keyboard player respects and understands the genius of this song.
Good Lord, thank you for giving Maximilian the musicianship I could have had.
The man is truly one with his instrument.
Maximillian is legally married to that guitar. They have 5 children together and a house in the hills.
It's true. Corey officiated the wedding.
Obviously but, we can't be telling him how great he really is, we just gotta keep that shit under the radar we dont want to have another Gary Clark jr. On our hands GOTS to keep his feet planted on the ground Maxmilliom that sounded pretty cool whata ya got for us next a Van Halen tribute tune?
@@MainSqueezeMusic van Halen - mean streer would be really cool or atomic punk.or loss control, nope I got it cathedral ,intro into something even Spanish fly would be cool not like max can't play any of that stuff, I was just thinking.abstract because we are hearing all the stand bys
Best comment ever!
I heard he divorced, reconciled, and had 3 more. He just can't stop. Same house though.
Holy crap; that guy can sing! Buddy wails on that SG too! So much talent in this band!
Their cover of Pink Floyd's "Have a Cigar" is stellar too!
This band is absolutely fantastic and all five of them are excellent. But this one really brought out Corey's vocal range. Very impressive 👏👏
Back again for another comment: this is the most intense a Beatles tune has ever sounded. I used to think the solo Prince did in 2004 was the best. THIS is the best. Not just the solo. The whole dahgum thing. Well done, friends. I will always come back to this video.
Hell no, prince’s solo is WAY better, this guy is all over the place, can’t hold a candle to prince, plus the sound mix sucks
This solo is pretty awesome. But Prince's is on another level.
This is a beautiful rendition of an amazing song, and it brought me to tears. Thank you for making this now-fatherless son weep once again with bittersweet memories.
Bless you man, all the best
Can't wait to have the opportunity to one day see you in concert.
word

Didn't think that would be possible but just covered one of my alltime favourite songs and made it even better AND somehow got me all the way Have a cigar got me when I first heard it.
His bends are just perfect. It's an incredible performance. Goosebumps and tears!!
Why would anybody downvote this? This is excellent, composition, production and qutie frankly talent. Some peope are just so bitter...
The swan in the pool misses you but your new digs are as spectacular as this performance! Thank you for the positive vibes during this very trying time ❤️
Solo was so tastefully done. It told a story. Whatever happened to you in the past,, I thank you for the pain you have been through for that incredible performance.
This is now the fifth time you covered a song so well I can no longer listen to the originals without thinking 'nope something is missing'. I don't know how y'all do it. May you continue.
Edit: Max was born to play this solo. He made that guitar cry beautiful tears in War Pigs for god's sake. Also the vocalist, my goodness.
i will never get over this solo, it’s incredible
Man!!!! what a voice!!! He sings like the angels.. that’s the only way I can describe
The tone he gets on that SG is just sick. Proof once again that you can play any style on any guitar.
George Harrison and his guitar and weeping for joy in heaven. Best way to start my music listening day. Thank you! As always, perfection.
la de clapton
These guys cover all my favorite songs growing up. Love it.
Dude...... Dude. Everything about this is perfect. This is better than any R&R HOF tribute. I imagine George's guitar would weeping tears of happiness after hearing this. Bravo gentleman
The guitar solo for this one, perfect. Just, perfect.
Corey's voice is the hot biscuit, Max's guitar playing is the butter and the rest of the band is the delicious gravy all over the top...
Man im hungry now...thanks Tim 🤣
That might just be one of the greatest solos I’ve ever heard. Melodic, tasteful, sublime. Absolutely dripping with improvisational and technical virtuosity. Rob also looks dope as hell in that outfit.
This is what Jack Black in School of Rock thought he looked like when doing his solos
This is exactly what jack black looked like in school of rock? I have no idea what your in about?
Exactly what I was thinking whole time 😂😂🤣
I just discovered these guys through my weekly search, I maybe late to the party but man I'm glad I came!
Good job band!!!! And this guitar player is not only playing with his fingers but with his whole body!!!
This rendition literally brought tears to my eyes. That guitar tine is incredible!
This band just drips funk.
The guitar player just made love to all 6 strings. Good stuff. Gave me chills. Thank you.
Vocals = fire, drums = fire, bass = fire, keys = fire, and the guitar solo melted my damn face off!
Just bought tickets to see you guys in The Big Smoke (London). Super psyched to hear you play Live, hope you cover this song again!
Man how I wish if the guitar solo was longer 😢
One of the best... Great
Nobody makes me wanna pick up my guitar and jam like Max. Beautifully done, yet again.
I recently watched “George Harrison: Living in the Material World,” so it was great to see this in my feed; fantastic performance and quality playing!
This video just showed up randomly in my youtube recommended feed. Never heard of these lads before, what a wonderful surprise this was.
What incredible synchronicity this band has! The guitarist put all his feeling into it and the drummer was extremely sensitive to everything, the double bass was wonderful! And that keyboard? No words! Everything was perfect, congratulations a thousand times over! 👏👏
My soul hears the weep and its everything to me, No number to the amount of times i have heard this cry thank you.
Max never ceases to amaze me
Man, he's definitely the best recent guitarist I've seen in the last 20 years that has mastered the art of 'feel'. ala David Gilmore.
He's better than Gilmore.
@@spookylovin He is a really, really great player. But...come on man
He's in the same strata as Gilmore at least, I'd say.
@@ClassicChaos12 his solo on have a cigar is better than any Gilmore has done. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!
If you’re looking for another amazing player, Checkout drew Smithers, played in a band called bishop Gunn. His work on their record “Natchez” is incredible
This is a masterpeace. That guitar playing is out of this world
When you listen to that piano intro, you sense that something different is coming.
So well done
bruh, you are just the best musicians I have seen in a long time. Thanks for putting out awesome music
That's some serious hat game going on with your man Rob there.
The bad is just fantastic that is really what I think, by the way, which one's Pink?
Yeah, I'm getting strong Larry Graham vibes
Big hat game = big bass game!
I'm glad somebody out there is still making/covering music like this! Crap on the radio these days is no bueno.
This is one of the best covers i've ever seen. Incredible musicians, unvelibable performance, you just blew my mind!
