As a g4gc beta II owner (unfortunately for most its in the AM1 kia soul) but its a good little motor. Using a tiburon flywheel and an ACT Perf clutch from a 91 nonturbo eclipse

Hi and thanks for your support. The EFI on the Tiburon is really sensitive and as soon as put the intake that will happen and the only way to fix it is to put back the oem intake box.
The tune isn't hard to map as long as you have a good known standalone ecu. They only thing that stops most tiburons from getting tuned is that most are on stock ecu . Once you get a good known ecu way more people will be willing to tune it.

nice numbers,the stock camshafts are capable of 600hp.....so check all others things first....are you on stock valve springs? they are the weak link on the head
Thanks, No I have 4g63 BC valve springs. I have a 2002 Elantra head ported and a Evo 8 intake manifold everything port match to the head. The engine need the camshaft because a 21psi hit the 413hp and a 26psi hit the 431hp so 5psi was supposed to give at least 60hp and it didn’t. Plus we are doing this at 93octane. We are going to put the camshaft and hit it with e85. Thanks for the advice and for the support.

For the Turbo oil line feed.. How did you get that Ball bearing that pressed into the block out?! I know the older GK you have like a alan screw fitting that could be screwed out but it’s a pain in the butt..
Send me a picture. If you are talking about the one in the block under de head I broke ir and screw a bolt and pull it out. For the Turbo oil feed I installed in the head and to get those bolts of I welded a nut to the bolt and screw it out.
I got a 97’ Tiburon. 4cyl im just curious to see if there’s anyone who can give me info as to where I can find performance parts for them as I am in the US with a KDM 😅 my only solution I’ve come to terms with is fishing them over the pond. Any info that will help will be highly appreciated 🤘🏽
That is the strongest engine of the Beta’s. That is the same year of engine that we are using. You can do everything that you see in my videos . Is the same engine.

Hello and that’s for the support. We had a few v6 and we did the headers, 2.5 exhaust system, cold intake, we did a stage 3 clutch with the light weight flywheel, wallbro 255 fuel pump and we converted the fuel system with return and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and it ran amazing.
If your willing to spend the money and know someone who can fabricate you could go turbo , stock motor can make 300 to 400whp on e85. Or you could go fbo and run nitrous like a 75 shot
You have to start buying parts. The turbo, waste gate, blow off valve, injectors, fuel pressure regulator, fuel lines, fuel pump, intercooler and piping and the list goes on and on!!
I mean that if you are using and aftermarket computer because it is the only way to get the extra hp. With the oem Ecm you are not going to make it. What is the problem that you have at low rpm.

We have hade various v6 and some of the mods that we found that work are, Fuel pump wallbro 255 in tank, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, cold air intake, you have to change the clutch with a light weight flywheel, headers and exhaust system.

that beta engine loves to rev up higher. like 8k rpm(Stock siemens can run 8160 max)
but the oiling system, crank both are crap.
All you need is a billet oil pump there a couple 9k rpm beta set ups

I used a 1” hole saw on each side and del cut it with a brand new knife.

You have to buy a stand alone computer because the oem one will not help you if you tuned it. We have a Fueltech 450 and it is amazing.
