just fabulous,i traveled to Bhutan last year and i fell in love with the country,it is surely the last bastion of peace, tranquility and a country which genuinely cares about the happiness of its people,i just didn't want to leave.

@RicardoEgana You must pay a set amount per day. I believe it is $250 per person per day now. But that does include everything: Hotels, transportation, guiding services, rafting (if you choose), food everything but alcoholic beverages.

@rshi69 There is only one airline that flys to Bhutan, Druk Air - You can catch the plane from Kathmandu (we did), Delhi, Bangkok, Kolkata, Bagdogra, and Dhaka (originating from Bangkok). No other flights in. All land at Paro.

English is their second language. Most children are taught the language in elementary school and are excited to try their skills out. So, yes, very often and you will likely have a guide who can translate for you for someone who doesn't speak English.

@elementaldragon244 Yes, very welcome! They really frown on cigarette smoking and it is illegal to sell cigs in the country.

How much cost a room to stay and a 4 plates of food per day? I want to expend 10 days in That village. I need to know that since we are a family of 4. Thanks

No. But the country is well wired to the internet - high speed most everywhere.
Most people in Bhutan are very poor and cannot afford these luxuries.

bhutan has the right idea about a lot of things. gross national happiness is absolutely right on. but no one religion is the whole or best answer. i also think they should be building narrow gauge railways instead of roads for cars.
