just fabulous,i traveled to Bhutan last year and i fell in love with the country,it is surely the last bastion of peace,tranquility and a country which genuinely cares about the happiness of its people,i just didn't want to leave.

@RicardoEgana You must pay a set amount per day. I believe it is $250 per person per day now. But that does include everything: Hotels, transportation, guiding services, rafting (if you choose), food everything but alcoholic beverages.
@rshi69 There is only one airline that flys to Bhutan, Druk Air - You can catch the plane from Kathmandu (we did), Delhi, Bangkok, Kolkata, Bagdogra, and Dhaka (originating from Bangkok). No other flights in. All land at Paro.

English is their second language. Most children are taught the language in elementary school and are excited to try their skills out. So, yes, very often and you will likely have a guide who can translate for you for someone who doesn't speak English.
How much cost a room to stay and a 4 plates of food per day? I want to expend 10 days in That village. I need to know that since we are a family of 4. Thanks
@chaosnec89 No. But the country is well wired to the internet - high speed most everywhere. Most people in Bhutan are very poor and cannot afford these luxuries.
bhutan has the right idea about a lot of things. gross national happiness is absolutely right on. but no one religion is the whole or best answer. i also think they should be building narrow gauge railways instead of roads for cars.
a blend culture between a Chinese and an Indian,to became a Bhutan culture be unique.and another country under MT.Himalaya around,their have a cultures a blend between a Chinese and an Indian.They are :Nepal,Tibet,Myanmar,and Bhutan-self.

Lived in the freaking country.Didn't get to see any "Thunder Dragons".Lots of spitting and stinking people.
