Cuando Joao tomo la espalda no metio los dos hooks para tomar los puntos, musumeci detuvo uno de los pies para evitar que le dieran los puntos.
Mas jiu-jitsu esportivo é isso, Paulo saiu de baixo e quase finalizou, Micki foi salvo pelo tempo, aí porque levantou e o Paulo ficou por baixo ganhou 2 pontos.
How does that not count as a takedown, when you go from standing to taking the man down with a threatening submission from the back?
And I know the rules but passing the guard, taking the back, immediately applying a deep collar choke with one hook in should give you a point. Joao should have won this.

They didn't go from standing. It started from guard and Joao never solidified top position. If he had then it would have been a sweep. If he had both hooks in for three seconds he would have gotten the 4 points needed to win but he didn't do that either.

no, i don't think you understand the rules of jiu-jitsu... miyao needed to put both hooks in to get the 4 points, that is the standard for back control and written clearly in the rules... you can take somebody's back with only 1 hook in... you do not get points for that... watch the replay in slow motion bro... miyao was not robbed at all... know the rules bro...

Idk maybe cause they sat to guard same time, Joao came up and then Mikey swept him back down. It was at the start that’s all I know lol

When Joao went back down and mikey stood up, that's a two point reverse. He played a smart game. Both guys are incredibly technical but mikey played a little smarter in this match up
How did Mike win.. Joao was attacking and keeping Mike in defending the whole time. This is why I love sub only.
He won when Joao sat back down and Mikey stood up. That's a two point reverse. You see this a lot at lower weights and high level matches. Sitting back down can be risky. In this case Mikey simply played a little smarter. Both guys are incredibly technical, make no mistake about that
Miyao should have secured the back take points first before doing the submission...

When Joao took the back he never got points for his sweep cus he never got any hooks in or had top control. 2-0 Mikey

At that level is as much a smart game as it is technical. He played a smarter game (got the two points (not on an another pick by the way) and then held his opponent off). Most guys at that level do it to win. BTW, holding off either of the Miyao brothers from taking back or rolling under is in itself an incredible accomplishment. He won because he was technical and played a smart game.

O Myao perdeu por que insistiu no estrangulamento... Era só ter soltado a lapela que ganharia a vantagem e os 4 pontos... Insistiu no ataque e não finalizou, ganhou só a vantagem. Só no fim, ele viu a merda que fez. O Myao perdeu para a regra.
@@coutinhonarcizo9337 Coutinho Narcizo errado! So ganharia vantagem se musumeci tivesse defendido o golpe diretamente onde estava sendo atacado. Ele so segurou a lapela e bem distante do golpe. Isso não conta como defesa. É a mesma coisa de você pegar uma gola nos 5 segundos finais da luta e não defender, não vai ser vantagem para seu adversário.
