    I’m the guy who got third in this race. Yes, I got beat out at the line. I don’t know how I went so wide into the last turn after holding off Joshua for so long 😂. Thanks for filming Denis

      Hey Jack. yeah... I remember I made the same mistake at my first GP at the same corner. I didn't make it tight enough but never repeat the same thing since then lol )

      question on question... what is more fun? to have a boring drive alone upfront till the finish or to have a battle from the back? my kart was too good for driving upfront

      Touché, may I ask as a new karter, at 1:42 u rotate the kart pretty nicely around the hairpin but your following laps seem to be faster where u simply slow down more and run it smoother

      @@scienceofone first laps are never the fastest bc tires are cold yet and less grippy. I posted a link to a race results in the description where you can see the exact lap times for each lap. But idk if it will clarify things a lot as race lap times are not comparable to quali lap times

    Why do you go on the outside after turn 13 every other lap in the beginning?

      just for getting the fastest lap. as more driver weight you have / as longer your acceleration time is / as longer line you need for crossing the start line on the maximum available speed. means i start the lap with a longer entry line and i close the lap using a tight line. it gives 1-2 tenths at least. by doing that you sacrifice one lap for making the next one as fast as possible. this technique is not required for the race. it's just for the quali. i was doing it during a race because i had a room for it just for fun.
