Fun fact: The Website with the Diablo Interactive Map also has a "Search" function on the left. You can just write "drop" in that field and you'll get to see every quest that has the description containing "drops" or "dropped" (since the 4 letter "drop" word is in both). You'll also see a bunch of other stuff, but not so many. So very easy to navigate and see those annoying drop quests.
6:05 they need to make an update to show what side quest we have done and which ones we haven't done that would be very helpful even with main quest do it with both you know hopefully they'll have an update like that soon because I'm sure a lot of people are like WTF I kind of am I mean I'm enjoying the game but I would like to do one place first the second place after so I'm trying to go in order and I'm stuck at the beginning with 3 quests left I believe I have 32 out of 35 so yeah
Side quest can be very annoying if you want to advance the campaign but also want additional experience. Well, if you are a completionist that is. Most side quest leads to places, which in turn is filled with additional side quests.
7:27 thanks for the video because I don't think I would have got this idea that I have if I didn't watch this so it kind of helped me in a way so thank you. There was another video that said finish all your side quests. Obviously I clicked on it and the persons like sign up to this webpage or something like that when the guy says I don't want to do it because I don't want to sell my email address it's like so why would we want to do that. The video was Zero help this gave me some idea of what to do and it helped. That other person not so much SMH some people but anyways thanks
Where I’m at atm is I can’t fully remember what quests I’ve done and because some quests randomly drop from ores bushes mobs or chests I can’t figure out and the game is awful and doesn’t show all completed quests
Yeah that part is very annoying. The best way is to try and search all the drop quests on the Interactive map and test out if the item drops. Good thing is you don't need to complete all the quests to get renown cap.
I feel like they changed that because I have 33 out of 35 side quests done and I have one more dungeon to do and apparently the dungeon doesn't show up until after the main quest is over
@@Treevors30I heard one side quest only appears after you’ve progressed far enough in the story. In the quest you can buy something from someone appearantly

Good tip on the Zoning. That helps. But stir up enough noise like when the Diablo 3 difficulty system followed suit with Diablo 2, maybe they'll add a completed quest log like how they revamped the entire difficulty system for diablo 3. Except this is just a completed quest log. just a scrolling read only list. nothing too much. make it an extra tab in the journal?
Sidequests being capped is one of the most stupid decisions they had with this game. Sure, I can understand that allowing players to pick every sidequests would flood the map with the objectives, but that's what the map filters are for.
i am at that point i came back to fractured peak and i miss one dungeon (i believe it says finish the campaingn so i can do that dungeon) and i miss 4 side quest i got 34/38 and the most annoying is i got 75 out of 76 areas discovered ....come on what can i do ???@@mintastical
I'm going to add to this that: "If it's a town (aka a mini-zone within a mini-zone), and especially if you can't use skills (no combat) walk out of each exit until you can use your skills and then open the map and see if there are any quests outside.
7:05 I guess my best bet because I'm not going to remember what side quest I done even at the beginning so I guess what I'm going to have to do look up side quest page and sadly just go through every single one kind of like what you're doing in a way except much harder but it's a way to figure it out and find them and finish them I heard you don't really have to finish the whole thing to get all the renowned but I want 100% the game I want to unlock every piece of clothing every weapon for the Rogue right now after that probably necromancer going to be tough
Well I would suggest maybe waiting a bit, I am sure they will add the Completed Quests in the game. Because this way is very annoying to go for 100%. It needs a lot of trial and error to find the hidden quest you are missing. Plus if you want to track all quests you completed you have to use mapgenie... which only allows you to track 100 quests for free, after that you have to pay them. Which is just crazy.
@@mintasticalI would think so because when you look at the quest there is one thing there that looks like it would be a spot for finished Quest also The Last Quest for this area can't be completed until the main game is done apparently something idle I forget the name but you have to buy it from a vendor
Yeah, side quests don't really have anything to do with the main characters. It's like MCU and Agents of SHIELD, they ran side by side, but no crossover.

Some sidequest only appear after completing the campaign. Be careful not to get crazy when trying to complete those BEFORE completing the campaign
Basically guys just go to each waypoint and you will see most of the side quests if not all of them per section of the map or location where you are.

So there's a max on side quest ? I've been walking zones for days looking. I miss the old days, when a game had data like that.
Are some quests not bound by the story progression and can be missed? And become inaccessible due to npcs dying in campaign
I am 99% certain that is not the case. They are all findable at any point.

does the game need beat before you can be a vampire and use its ability?
I just did all the side quests before main quests. Pretty sure most remaining are hidden quests
