    I'm having trouble with the big o'ring on the bottom of the cylinder. I squeezed out and ruined the base gasket. It doesn't seem to have enough room.

      Did you get it figured out? Sorry just saw this. I don’t remember having this issue on mine 🤔

      @ToyShop9665 I bought a smaller o'ring going to try it again. The parts diagram doesn't show an o'ring on the right rear head bolt hole, but it looks like it takes one. I have to do the valves and seal too, just waiting on parts.

    Where did you get your parts?

    My kit didn’t come with the cylinder o ring. I took the old one but it’s all broken up. Can I use some good heat silicone with the old one ring

      Possibly? I’m not 100% sure the purpose of it other than to keep oil from splashing up on the base gasket? There’s no compression around that I don’t think.

      O rings are like 3 cents just take the old cylinder down to a any part store that's what I did

    How much of a bear was the Allen heads for the exhaust ? Mines superrrr tight

      A lot of times they will seize in. I had to use vice grips to get mine off because the allen head was stripped out already

    I can not get my cam bolt to loosen up to get it out Any tips would be great!

      I just gave her the ugga duggas and it came off. Make sure the timing chain adjuster is still installed because putting an impact on it isn’t the most ideal thing to do and that should help eliminate some of the unnecessary torture to the chain and sprockets. Also make sure you’re going lefty loosey. If you don’t have an impact maybe stick a screw driver in the sprocket teeth and let it come around until it binds under the chain and the use a ratchet. I wouldn’t use an impact on it this way though.

    Why didn't you set the end gap on the piston rings?

    • @ToyShopRestorations
      @ToyShopRestorations  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They were good enough. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I didn’t have to

    How similar is this to a bear tracker?

    • @ToyShopRestorations
      @ToyShopRestorations  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That I have no idea. They’re all pretty similar but I know the timing chain adjuster is different. Flywheel probably is too

    • @vernonfale9135

      Bear tracker has, same basic engine design, only difference is flywheel and chain adjuster. Bear trackers have an auto chain adjuster.
