Hi hi!! Hope this video helped with explaining how I make my videos! Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions in the comments below (or reply to this comment).
@@HiPriscilla Not when I'm filming and usually not so much when I'm painting. But recently when I'm editing, I've been listening to electropop, metal & screamo.
Hi! Would it be better to invest in sd card and battery or is it better to plug the sony a72 using usb to power it and record it externally (Using PC and recording device) will it affects the output or video quality? Thanks!
It's so nice to have an insight into your filming process! You make it seem so natural and peaceful in your videos and it's easy to underestimate how much work happens behind the scenes. :)
Awesome video, it is always so nice seeing the behind the scenes :) A lil tip for people who don't want to spend too much money on a ton of batteries for their cameras, is to get a battery coupler kit instead! That way your battery will never run out since it is connected to a regular power outlet. Doing this made my life so much easier and I did not need to spend time getting interrupted and having to switch batteries every hour or so. Obviously this works best if you are filming at home ;)
Three years ago. But, I have been looking for a solution for my multiple “arts and crafts” table for filming. Thank you. This is perfect. I’m going to show my husband right NOW!!!!
I've been waiting for this!! Thank you for letting us in on your secrets. Your videos are always so mesmerizng to watch, the tranquil atmosphere you create is amazing!
I think this video a great example of not needing the newest and best to have great shots. That old Canon with a good lens still produces amazing shots and realistically could be someone main camera.
Thank you so much for this! It gives a bit more insight of how I should film my own videos. I will be ordering another tripod. Thanks for being inspiring ^^
Wow I didn't know you were also into cameras and photography! Your videos are amazing!! I love the paintings, music, shots everything is great! If you'll ever need some chill/lofi guitar music I'd be very happy to send some your way :)
Thank you thank you for sharing what the shots look like from each lens! This is a GREAT video as someone that’s wanting to get into filming super well eventually
Omg thank you soooooo much on showing how you did your overhead shots, I got a tripod recently and I didn’t think it could do that but now I found out with your trick that it could, took a bit of strength but now I now I can do over head shots noe
i just saw one of your videos (the one where you did colour studies using oil pastels) and was blown away by its production value! Which made me want to know more too (I had cameras but I didn't know how to set it up for overhead shots, so I just used a phone) but this has helped me so much! Especially the parts where you said you use a specific lens for showing the texture and detail, and the tabletop shots from the side which make it seem like we're sitting beside you and witnessing it! All of your shots are so thoughtful and you've inspired me to take better videos!!! Thank you for creating this.
Could you please share the camera set up that would be appreciate🥰? I have the same camera model and OSS lens but I got the Weird shake / Wobbling at the corner or far background when I shot the video.
That's a long shopping list...do you happen to know if your setup would also work for streaming? I've been using webcams to capture my live drawing but I don't find the picture quality that great whereas your stuff looks way sharper and vibrant.
niceee, you answered the questions that I always wanted to know but never asked. I'll do my best to not feel like I have to own the things you mentioned on the video. Btw I came across your channel since your 3 colors gansai tambi video. After high school was over, thanks to you I feel in love water colors. Well, I liked what you did. Somehow every stroke you did looked so beautiful. Thank you for inspiring. You are inspiring, well sometimes I get sad when I compare myself to you and think that I wont be able to paint like you. But still you're inspiring. Seeing your works makes me wanna paint as well sometimes. Anyways goodnight~
i always find your videos so calming and beautiful 🌱 is the glowy/blurry effect included in your editing process? or is it from the "fun" lens that you mentioned?
*Owns six batteries for her camera because she's a pro videographer and knows how to use tech* *stores them in a round ceramic jar because that's her vibe*
Thank you for this amazing video!! 💖It made me figure that I could actually flip my 10 y/o tripod center pole upside-down for overhead shots just like yours, woah🤯😅
I’m just curious… With all this filming and editing, don’t they affect your creative process? I tried it and I find it exhausting. How do you manage your time?
Exactly my thoughts! I really enjoy Painting but the thought of filming my Process and taking shots from all different angles tires me + my studio is not even Aesthetic:(
I am here looking around at how professional artists recording their art process. I have sony apsc camera and 2 sigma prime lenses, but my brain told me I need a new camera, I need the new dji osmo pocket or dji action cam. Until I found this video and particularly suprised that I can do overhead shooting with a tripod instead of a boom arm. Well, I have almost the same tripod like yours. I just tried setting up my tripod like yours in the video, with my 16mm prime lens (24mm equivalent) and . . . boom, I don't think I need to buy a new camera anymore. Thanks!
Hi, I have the same canon you do, but my autofocus is always crazy when I am trying to film, do you use autofocus or do you turn it off when trying to shoot a process?
ahh thank you so much for this video, so much time must have been spent on you just filming your videos!! its just really amazing!! although, i don't really have a tripod or a camera, i was wondering how i can do it with my phone alone? i've been struggling with it for a while - i just really want to record my painting videos! but if anyone has any tips that would be really helpful!! or if you could post any video links underneath that you think would help me ^^
haha i thought Premiere was opening on my computer when you showed the loading screen! Thanks for sharing all of your info (and in such a stylish way :O )
Have you tried using a "dummy battery" for plugged-in video recording? I got to the part of the video where you noted that you have a ton of batteries. You might be able to find a battery that plugs into the wall! A wall powered battery!
It was an okay video I would have liked more on how to angle the cera to record than the tools being used. Would have also liked for the sponsor to have been at the middle of the video or at the end. Thank you for the information
Your camera looks amazing! I am wondering how long it's able to film? I have issues when fiming long videos cause they shut off 20-30min in with my dslr camera

I do appreciate the timestamp feature that you've used since it makes it easy to navigate. Thank you
I'm curious! Do you listen to music or anything while you make art (I'm guessing no, since iwe can only hear the ambient sounds of paper/paint/etc.)?

My gear is the McTrash X6000 V+ moving focus lens alongside the SuperStill mk. 2 tripod with Bullshitov (tm) transversal stabilizer..... LOL !

I love the tripod set up for overhead shots. So clever!

Ach! I love your videos so much! The chill vibe is perfect 😄
Amazing video.. Thank you!!
How do you record the sound without noise or any other unwanted sounds? Could you please advice?
That's a long shopping list...do you happen to know if your setup would also work for streaming?
I've been using webcams to capture my live drawing but I don't find the picture quality that great whereas your stuff looks way sharper and vibrant.
I've never used my current set-up for streaming so not sure!
@@PearFleur Okay, well thanks anyway; still a very helpful video!
I am absolutely amazed I really love how you made this, and your shooting skills are so good 🥺🥺❤️❤️❤️
omg! I didnt know that it was possible to film upside down like that. Gonna test it tomorrow . Thank youuu

I love it she's room it's so aesthetic 🥳🥳🤩🤩
i always find your videos so calming and beautiful 🌱 is the glowy/blurry effect included in your editing process? or is it from the "fun" lens that you mentioned?
Thank you! The blurry effect is from my Fujifilm x100v & a Black Pro Mist filter attachment.
Really helpful video! I love the aesthetic of your videos ❤️

Anyone knows her camera strap for the sony and fujifilm camera? I’m in love with it

You read my mind, I was wondering that yesterday, while binge watching your videos
how do you get those "soft lights" effects ? do you use a a diffusion filter ?
Hi, I have the same canon you do, but my autofocus is always crazy when I am trying to film, do you use autofocus or do you turn it off when trying to shoot a process?
I was just thinking about you!!! I was looking to see if you made a video about POSCA markers and then I saw that you uploaded! How crazy.
