Id also be interested to see how detailed and accurate the plan can become, for example when you done wall to window with the measurement you took would that not completely omit the facing and then have the opening in the wrong place as a result of that ?
Hi Adam I assume you can add in the wall thickness through the door you added and continue with the next room. How do you tie the next disto position to the previous or is it independent and just using the through door width to tie in? Many thanks
There is actually a new relocation feature built into the DISTO Plan app. It lets you secure location via three points, move the unit, and capture those same three points to relocate the unit.
Seems like a two person job, that would end up having to be redrawn anyway. I could have hand drawn and measured the room in about 2 min. Seems more useful for a complicated space, like a church or warehouse, then for a house. It would be nice if it could be converted to Revit or some other drawing program. Hopefully future versions will have AI and draw the room for you, perhaps just walking around the house.
I want to move away from using papers and start using Ipad, and blue tooth enabled disto but why do I feel the process is actually not going to save me time
Hi, thanks! You can use any tripod with a 1/4" thread, but you still need the DST360 to utilize the P2P capabilities of the X3 and X4. -Noah Advanced Dimensions

Is the DST 360 necessary for the P2P? can't you just point out carrying the device ?
