I would love to "the best start". Or, how to set your build in the 1st hour of the game. Items/weapons/spells you can get right after you get torrent without having to fight bosses. And the best way to invest the souls from Greyoll and the Night Cavalry in Caelid. For example, the gravity staff, rock sling and the ore katana (all in Caelid and easy to grab). And boom, that's your early build right there.
Yes but he forgot the incantation swarm of flies in one of the little caves with albinorics in it its tucked away at the very back. I believe it's the middle long one with 2 enemies underground.
This might be a bit of a backwards way of doing the area. The blood swamp has 3 invaders that won't spawn if mohg is dead. You've missed out on the war surgeon armor set

Definitely accurate about playing on PS and not being able to do Varre’s quest line unless you pay for online. Luckily there was a free online weekend during the summer sale at the exact moment I was doing his quest!
@@RobikV3 I didn’t have any issues with the 3 invasions, as soon as you’re invaded, you can just immediately just use the item to warp back to your own world. I think I did it sometime in May probably

you have to consider that they are only tied to 1 place, where you can get the stuff and never come back there again, while other annoying enemies who are on the list return multiple times in the game

you can long range agro one of those crows to throw itself off the ledge from that grace at the top of the albunaric farming spot to get loads of runes for easy kills.
There is now a way to access this area via White Mask Varre's questline without having online functionality, as of patch 1.06 There is now an invasion sign in a certain location of the game that counts towards this. I haven't tried that method personally, but, it was in the patch notes. He has "beast claw" in his name and uses the great stars weapon.
just got there this way. It's in altus plateau in the ruins to the west of the minor erdtree with the massive wormface. Went there and invaded a red sign in the ruins and returned to varre in liurnia. He then did the whole finger thing and gave me the seal.
I'm pretty sure it's pronounced "stawn-ching", though I've usually seen it spelled "staunch" instead of "stanch." Google tells me they're the same word but different spellings.
if you go up to the spot where you farm the crow from the top of the ledge. you can go up the broken support thing. keep jumping and climbing up you will get to a cave. but I couldn't find anything in the cave is it just there for show?
As far as that cave goes I believe it's entrance point from Consecrated Snow Fields. There's a teleporter that brings you to Mohgwyn Palace. You do gave to defeat a Sanguine Noble though I think. Hope this helps you out!

FYI to any playstation players going through this area currently, you no longer require ps plus to progress Varre's questline as there is now another method of progressing aside from invading players. There is now a red summon sign in the writheblood ruins that you can use to summon and kill an npc which will allow you to get the lord of blood's favor. Also the boss is a joke when using the mimic tear ashes and the physick tear the prevents the damage taken during his nihil attack. Absolutely melted him around level 120 with my mage build.
Dude just skipped over the 458 albanaurics (sp?) you face at the beginning of the area. It's a small miracle of modern technology the frame rate doesn't drop to single digits with all those enemies.

You can get here if you dont have a ps plus subscription you can co to altus near the draconic tree sentinel there is runes and on the ground you can invade a npc that is what I did yesterday
you can do the whole white mask quest line offline. You just have to go to the Bridge of iniquity site of grace in Mt. Gelmir and go across the bridge and into that village with all of the hounds that cause all of the bleed effect. The Writheblood ruins. There is one of those red invasion markers inside one of the building ruins and if you go in and lose 3 times it will let you progress past the use bloody fingers part of the white mask quest.
I still got to here with Varres quest offline via PS, just continue the game as normal, beat 3 of the ingame invaders/Bloodspots. then returned to Varre and his quest continued

Varres quest can be done offline now after beating godrrick he will be in liurnia in the rose church and you can do three invasion offline in altus plateu
Isn't it a little interesting that the skeleton wielding red albie boys get that skeleton spell after they go through the blood magic transformation...that spell that's only wielded by 2 tibia mariners in the game...maybe the red light of the halphen is the blood magic of the formless mother..... food for thought for sure!

Get your sneak on with those summoning Albenorics and you'll be able to take them out 1 by 1 without them calling in the bones.
There's a Golden Rune (13) behind the altar where the Sanguine Noble and Albinaurics, near the cliffside.

Staunching refers to stopping or restricting bloodflow from a wound. It's pronounced 'stawn-ching'

The main reason why you can't do Varre's questline is because you can't go online invading others using PS without the PS Plus subscription.

At the back of Mohg's boss room, there is a doorway on either side of the cocoon.

When you "two-hand" Radahn's weapon, it splits in two and you dual-wield/power stance it, you only need the 1 copy to do this 😁
