What a treasure to find at my age (71): a wonderful British sitcom I never heard of before! I am drawn to the brazen humor alongside poignant satire of its characters. There is substance and sustenance to it. As I think back, the only comparable program we had in the U.S. was the 1970s' "All in the Family", which itself was based on a British production. Thank you, Michael Jayston Channel for presenting all these fine episodes!
I know i saw this show when it first came out but i remembered nothing but the title (I am over 60 and my memory not what it was) and the title it was that piqued my curiosity just yesterday when i found your play list. thanks for posting this. a real find!!!!
The best line is " Do the Chickens get to go to a Dinner Dance and eat Frozen people" , perhaps its my state of mind, but I found it hysterical, Thank You love this series 💐💐💐
My favourite from Ep1 was when Nigel introduces himself, "Badger- Badger, Fox & Badger" and Ted asks if he's a taxidermist !!! That makes me laugh everytime I think about it
now that it is a full generation since this came out i am curious, does ANYONE refer to a party or social fiunction as a "do" any more? i rememeber this usage full well being over 60, a child of the 60's but would young people these days even recognize it?

We prefer Brit humor to ANYthing ever produced in the US...All in the Family was awfully mean.
If you can find them you will probably enjoy the " Waiting For God " series. So funny
@@OldLadyFarmer58 I remember when it was on PBS!

Love this show Tic-a-ti-boo became my catchphrase after I saw this when I was kid
Delightfully fine acting
Yes, this was a brilliant show, full of excellent humour, very well written. Full of excellent English actors in ENGLAND when TV was watchable.
"Doreen from the Frimley Building Society!" Hahahahaha!
Lovely!
“I don’t like style. I don’t trust style. Not having any style is my style” - Rita 😂

"You can't die, I haven't told you I love you!" Got to tell them I love them. You go, Rita, kick some ass.
A waste of David Jason’s talent . A sitcom based on infidelity . Not my cup of tea ,..
