This is the way I think about it. Most "prey" animals automatically know their predators innately. You can breed chickens indoors for 15 generations and the 16th generation of chickens will still be terrified of hawks and large predatory birds. So now this leads to the pondering part of my brain. Why would we as humans have that same innate feeling towards things that are pretending to be humans?? As if.... maybe there was a point where there was something that would use decoy humans to lure humans in. In the exact same way we use fake ducks to lure ducks in or fake doe to lure bucks in.

Because of our complicated brains but mere animal nature, our brain can't compute that something looks like it's real but it isn't, making us feel uncomfortable. Not because we evolved to feel that way, but because we can't compute it in our heads. It's why religion exists too, completely fabricated behavior by humans because of our complicated brains. They are extremely different looking humans. Neanderthal did not look that much different than say a northern western European H Sapien of the time. And they had babies together.
