  • Abandoned Crossroads Diner - Belvidere, NJ. Closed in July 2018, this diner was in business for 62 years in this rural New Jersey town. With Dunkin Donuts wanting to move in and the owners retiring, this place closed up was just left here abandoned. Diner was sold at auction on March 29, 2019 and nothing had happened since except for destruction inside. I go inside this gem from 1957 and I will say, it felt like 1957 inside. Enjoy.

This diner sold on Ebay in March for 70K plus so it's not getting destroyed. Not sure how they will move it. Surprised no one mentioned that after all the comments. Also the place (stanley marine) across the street was the place where the boat was purchased in the 1st friday the 13th movie. Filming location for first Friday the 13th is about 7 miles from here.

I wonder if the staff left that one table set up on the last night they were open as a memorial/thank you to all those that had dined there & worked there over the years.

I've jumped in my car several times on a Saturday morning over the years in Levittown PA just outside of Philadelphia to take a ride there to have breakfast and read the morning paper then go to the flea market across the street before heading home to get on with my day. Im grateful to be old enough "59" to have enjoyed so many old Diners, Flea Markets, Drive-in movie theaters, Roller Skating locations etc that are no longer around. I grew up 5 houses away from the Langhorne Speedway that closed when I was 12 after seeing many races with my father in the 60s then torn down some years later being replaced by a Kmart in the 1970s

This diner looks awsome!!! It shouldn't be a dunkin donuts, it should be either an Eat n Park, Primanti Bros, Quaker Steak and Lube, or a Hello Bistro

It’s not abandoned ... it was sold to new owners... right up the street from me! Also further up the road is the train car restaurant . I did go inside that one. It was cool!

With the way the doorways blocked off and the walls broken in the back looks like they are saving the main diner. That would have to be done to transport it.

The Building is still there... maybe some entrepreneur will see this and buy the diner and move it like they did with Rosie's Diner on Rt. 17.

Looks to me like they are separating the back building to save the front car part so hopefully they are saving it like the other you mentioned. What a cool find indeed ! Love it !

That diner looks awesome, it's like 1955 Hill Valley from Back To The Future in there :)

Ah. My favorite old greasy spoon. I spent many a night in there with my dad and brother as a kid. Well, at least Key City Diner in P'burg is still going (I think).
