Thanks for helping me decide what to use that ground pork in the freezer for LOLOL Do you think I could use regular sugar instead of rock sugar? I have no idea where I'd get that
Never heard of this dish before but I am intrigued. I will have to give this one a whirl (though likely with beef or turkey as one here does not eat pork [their loss]).
Ok… I stand corrected. Melting involves liquifying single ingredient but I used oil here, so it dissolved. But apparently the correct term to use for sugar is decompose. I’m not saying that. LOL
@crystalglass1358. I disagree with your unnecessary comment. From the Cambridge Dictionary: to turn from something solid into something soft or liquid, or to cause something to do this.
These meatballs are incredible! Easy to make and so delicious. Happy Weekend! 💕

Yes... you can use regular sugar.
Never heard of this dish before but I am intrigued. I will have to give this one a whirl (though likely with beef or turkey as one here does not eat pork [their loss]).
Thanks for sharing flo..I don't eat eggs..what can I use replacing the egg? Thanks.
Great recipe, Flo! BTW, frozen liquids melt - sugar dissolves.
What about chocolate and butter? 🤔 I did not dissolve the sugar in liquid. I melted it down to its liquid form.

@@FloLum I wouldn't use decompose either! It doesn't bring to mind a very appetizing picture. LOL

Did I hear you say that there are some people who braise these meatballs for 4 hours?
Yes! 🤷🏻♀️ I can’t say if they would be that much better. And not sure I’d be willing to give it a go to see.
